if u log on two accounts from same IP and one gets banned, will the other one get banned?


should i switch ip's every time switching from d3 accounts?

No as in, they won't ban you. You don't have to use VPNs or proxies. You will be fine.

Actually, many of the bans in the last wave hit players with from multiple bot accounts/same IP address. There were even reports that players in the same building as other botters, with different computers but shared IPs, received bans at the same time.

We don't really know what criteria Blizzard is using now, but they've stepped it up since the RMAH launch. My advice would be to use a different IP for botting and your regular IP for your main, just to be safe.

ive already loaded 2 computers on 1 ip so i am on a list and if iever get banned on one account my other is compromised

i could of never logged on both accts from same IP and had a better chance at not getting caught, but i took someones advice since it was the only advice and now my risk goes up 50%.... sucks for me

Exactly. Why would they all of a sudden be using this as a technique and not in WoW or whatever. I think all the stuff people are saying is bullcrap to make these things look "unsafe" when in reality all we have is a bunch of random happenstance. I have been using Sarkoth on my DH with 200+ million gold since before DB w/ Autoit, and bought another acct which I have botted with @ the same time at various points with different computers, same computer, and one off and playing the other legitimately. My account if anyones would be flagged and I'm selling RMAH gold on it just fine. I've made 100$+ the past couple days.

Do what you want until we see some sort of a ban wave that means something.

There is no definitive answer because it varies. Yes, all accounts under one IP can be banned together, there are reports of that. There are also reports of some accounts getting banned and other being fine. Some quick reading in the Ban report thread would of covered this.

as you can see i was going switch ip's everytime to avoid getting flagged, however there is no way to know how blizzard prevents cheaitng because even blizzard doesnt know

i bet theyve banned so many legit players and its probably pathetic to have to deal with a crappy company like blizz all they do is copy paste "we have thoroughly investigated and can assure you"
"we cant provie this information due to security purposes" and repitive bullcrap speeches
