I stopped my bots for today, just to see the situation.

heard it can detect wether or not you have the 100m picked up achievement and that they investigate accounts with that achievement (also dependent on how long you have your character already)

4 accounts running nonstop 24/7 since IB came out. No ban. Each has atleast 200m gold collected.

I did stop earlier today (about 8 hours ago) for the first time when I heard about all these bans

I havent really stopped botting at all, my bot's has been running 24/7 and none of my accounts got banned, I Just woke up, my bot has been running for 9 hours straight farming now.
Each of these account has 250m+ Gold collected.

yeah it seems to be random, but maybe its all the accounts selling gold on the rmah, since my cuz hasnt stopped botting but he doesnt sell the gold he uses it to buy items he wants, and he has been going 24/7 doesnt put anything up on the RMAH.

24x autoIT bots. 20/7 since release, no ban. Made over 4000$ so far, if i get banned i don't care, buy new accounts..

PS, i have used AH bot in moderation, no ban.

I use different paypal for every battlenet account and get my money out of the game by selling items on rmah.*

3 Accounts, not a heavy botter. The most I ever botted was 10 hours straight.

All leveled with the ZK exploit except 2 characters (out of 15)

Been running the Hybrid Sarkoth run for the past week or so, no ban but I usually only run it in 1-4 hour runs then stop and check AH, play manually for a bit. Since I heard that they are banning I've been making it a point to manually farm just in case my account is flagged.

Good luck to everyone and lets hope they are done with bans.

I also have a 2nd account that I botted for about 2 days (AutoIT Sarkoth Hell) to level. I used 2 virtual machines all on the same IP. For some reason, the night before yesterday's update I decided to shut off my computer for the first time in 2 weeks (not sure if that has anything to do with it). Immediately after the servers went back up 7/12/12, around 9am PST I continued my bot to until about 4pm when my computer was shut down from Windows update (I didn't know this was the reason until I read this thread). I also use a remote desktop, so unless I'm sleeping or really busy, I usually check my bot every few hours from my laptop or work.

I have not used the RMAH since release and when I did it was from when my account was totally clean w/o bots etc. I only used the GAH, gave people on friends lists random stuff I found, and spent gold on GF/MF gear. It wouldn't be the worst thing for me to get banned, I pretty much stopped playing the game and began playing the AH / optimizing my character for efficient botting than actually playing the game. I also ran D3 Advanced bot (the Cellar in town) on my account for few days until it was shut down (d3advance). Hope this helps someone.

Not banned... Because I haven't used anything since patch. if I had run IB which I normally use I probably would have lost everything by now.

They are not banning by bot necessarily since users of all bots have reported bans.
They are not banning by total gold I have an account which has almost collected 300m

I'm thinking along the lines of behavioral characteristics then manually observing/confirming and banning

They dont have the manpower to do that. People were using DB on fresh account and only got to level 26 and were banned yesterday. For GM to monitor and observe each bot is nonsense there is what 150k+ Demonbuddy users alone not to mention IB's numbers etc. No way they observed that many in the last 48 hours.
