Hello, I am currently building a PC that is pretty much going to dominate. However, I see a lot of people running copies of Diablo in VMWare. Couldn't I just multiclient without VMware or is there a benefit in using a virtual machine?

Most of the people using VM's are using AutoIt\AutoHotKey scripts. Which just simulates mouse clicks and key presses. Well, on your computer normally, you only have one mouse and one keyboard, so you can't send out different mouse movements and key clicks to different instances of the game. Which is why you use the VM's, so you can have say, 5 simulated mice and keyboards sending out commands.
Ah, so VM is for people not using bots. Lol I was wondering why people would waste the resources to run a VM when they could just multiclient. Thank you for the answer to my question.
