    Multiple D3 windows

Just wondering, to run multiple D3 windows (1 within desktop, 1 within VM) do you need 2 seperate accounts and CD-keys? Or can I be botting on my VM with my wizard and simultaneously be levelling my barb on my desktop?

if you are referring to playing two characters on one battle.net cd-key, no, that is not possible. you will need 1 cd-key for each account you want to use.

In your case, i would separate the battle.net accounts to keep the possibility of both of them getting looked into if one is flagged.

    account 1- Desktop - wizard
    account 2- VM - barb

Thanks for clearing that up, I've also heard of people having to manually change their MAC address so that the client in the VM doesn't match the one on the desktop, is this something that I would have to do?

last i read, blizzard does not look at mac addresses of computers for banning, as i could play on my account on a friends computer and then he is flagged, it wouldnt be right (i currently have 8 different WTF folders for different accounts on my computer, friends use my comp sometimes). the IP will be looked into more than likely, but ive also read that they do not ban by IP either (same logic as MAC addresses, i could be botting at a friends house on his connection, he would be flagged and be all angry-like).

then again, you could put on a tin-foil hat just in case and change mac/ip's if it makes you feel safer.

Yea I was thinking that too. Couldn't I run a VPN service within each VM session? (two different VPN services)

I thought I read recently that they are banning people purely for the use of wine and VM though? not even on the basis of botting. Rage Banning the legit people who use those solutions.

You don't need VM at all. As long as you have 2 keys. Just make a copy of your diablo 3 folder, call it diablo 3(2), create a shortcut of the exe to wherever you would like. Then add -launch to that shortcut.

Runs both windows extremely fast on an SSD.

Yea, I like I said I can run two on the host fine.

I am wanting to run two in the VM so I can have the ZK script run in the background while I'm doing other stuff in my main host computer.

    Someone please help?
