[Question]Farming white mobs with MF gear (uber farming method?)

Hello , i just tried yesterday how it would be farming trash mobs with 300% MF gear in leorics manor act 1. in my first run just by bombing this trash mobs away 2 legendarys dropped in 2 runs + 1 receipt?! lolwtf... my next 10-15 runs only some decent yellows and blues dropped but then nothing. Maybe just luck?

maybe you guys can give it a try and tell me about it? i have the feeling blizz gives you a ID or something so you cant have more then 2 legendarys per day. maybe a uber farming method who knows.

well actually i have some conspiracy theory on that

actually since iceguys down want us to farm same location over and over it is probably possible that the locations luck pool wears off overtime and the probability of getting good items lowers with every run

on the other hand there might be some threshold on your character like no matter what you do but unless u get an over9000 drop then the drop 9001 will be legendary or get a chance to be

Ok, so basicly what happened:
1. You had one very good/lucky run
2. You didn't have on after that
3. You came here hoping this wasn't RNG?

2 Legendaries in 1 run is very lucky and you should be happy with that, but in the end its all just RNG.

Magicfind is so damn overrated. Lets say the chance of getting a legendary on a white mob there is 0.1%, the chance with 300% MF is still only 0.3%. You probably find better items if you just farm act 1 champion packs (~20-30/hour easily)

i am convinced! just bought 20 million in magic find gear, pls show me areas with the greatest density of white mobs

i think its possible to find nice items at the champion packs.
