[Authenticator] Multiple Sessions

A search for this topic which brought me to a few very old pieces of software (and posts) that acted like an authenticator, but I'm curious if they still work and if they work for Diablo 3.

I have no experience using an authenticator outside the official blizzard ones, so any information would be much appreciated.

i use winauth also, it is very good.

For https://authenticator.me , you have to go to their page to generate a code...what do you do if the page is down?

Can you explain Xel? I mean, it should be adding an extra layer of security, not taking away from it XD

Could you elaborate on why should they be considered a security risk?

AFAIK the generation algorithm has to be the same as the one Blizzard uses, otherwise it would not pass their check during login or even when attaching an authenticator to account.

As for the Authenticator.me site, they can't do you any harm since they don't know the battle.net address you use with their authenticator.

I would love to hear anything you have on your mind Xel, but I really don't see a reason why these codes should be risky at all.. (of course I can be wrong)
