Why ask for a refund now? Even if DB loses, which I hope is unlikely, Bossland is not the type to run. They haven't seized any of his assets or anything so I'm sure he would honor a refund and compensate people however he could should the case go south.

Bossland has ALWAYS been more than fair when it comes to refunds.

Very true. If they were going to "run" they wouldn't have even offered the option to request a refund now. If anyone has used any of the "buddy" products in the past they'd know that Bossland operates as a legitimate business. They've always let it be known that they don't keep the money of unhappy customers.

+1. they have awesome products and you get people like Tony and others that give you 1 on 1 live support if you really can't fix issues that you're having.

well, considering Blizzard Activision (or whatever they call themselves now) is owned by a french company, Vivendi, I wouldnt really consider them a standalone US company. Plus, no one cares whos from where anymore, look at samsung and apple, back and forth all day every day, one from Korea one from US, court cases in Germany, etc. its a worldwide economy, they can stick their threats anywhere they want.

Demonbuddy to be up in about 12 hours

nearly 2 days are gone, took opinion of four lawyers and here is what we decide:


We are working on a Geo IP Solution, based on countries. We will use a paid solution for that, to guarantee that:

Only our customers from outside of Germany will have access to Download Demonbuddy
Only our customers from outside of Germany will be allowed to connect to the Authentication of Demonbuddy
Only our customers from outside of Germany will be allowed to connect to the Navigation of Demonbuddy

I am sorry for all Germans and people living in Germany, we must hold to that ruling until the hearing.

Sales will still be stopped till the ruling of the LG Hamburg. For everyone.

Demobuddy will be ready in few hours, once our system filters all the German IPs, we will give it a go. All of you asked for a refund, sorry!

Same here. Last i tried DB last week, still too buggy and getting stuck a lot.

Woot Bossland to the rescue...at least until the hearing. You know I wonder if Blizzard got scared about the local nav and panicked knowing that they would have a harder time cutting off the botters if it went totally local. Total idle speculation, but its interesting to watch....

i like nvpn its 50 a year i think i paid and fast as hell . Plus its got good security as well and no logs
