Unfortunately it looks like our concerns regarding Immortal Bot and warden were true. For those of you that didn't already know, Warden is the anti-cheat from Blizzard.
Today MaiN approached KuRIoS and asked if he had Immortal bot running, which he didn’t, so I volunteered to help them out instead. MaiN asked me to run Hookshark while botting with Immortal, like I was already doing. Hookshark looks for changes in a program and it found one of the changes in the hooks on Diablo belonging to Immortal. This means that whenever Diablo 3 should be running the normal code, it was running Immortals code instead.
MaiN then looked at the warden scans and saw that this is one of the places that warden scans, furthermore, he said that it had scanned at 13:04 and 13:44 (UTC Time).
So what does this mean to you?
It is now up to you to decide what you want to believe. I'm a optimist, so I'll just continue botting, getting as much as I can until they finally takes me down, which could take awhile. As for you, you could either do the same or, stop botting alltogether.
Naturally, this IS still speculations that it will turn into a ban, but this time it seems the evidence is quite strong. Maybe others from the memory editing corner of OC can verify it?
Jearin had a quick peek for the same values when botting with HellBuddy and it didnt look like it was detected, but that is hard to conclude.
Please note that I am not trying to get my money back from VS. I have earned back many times what it has cost me to buy the bot. And who knows, maybe it wont be detected or maybe anti-cheat meassures that we can not see are in place
