Hi,
i am botting on 4 accounts at the moment. I am thinking of buying a 5th account and playing myselft without botting. My question is if my 4 bot account will get banned, will my 5th account where i never bot also be banned?
greetings and thx

If a gm decides to lookup ip and computer info its being played on then, yeh
Potentially has the chance to ban all in 1 go, just like wow
But if its a "detection" flag/ban then no the 5th would be fine/safe
Ok, but i dont understand. Why an account should be banned wich has never been boted or using any exploits or whatever?
Technically speaking 5th one (where you do not bot) should not be banned. Make sure you do not transfer items/gold to that account. Another thing - it would be better if you run it on different pc or on the same one but without any bots running in background. You can also set up virtual machine (search VMware) and run bots on it while playing yourself on actual one. In that way you can argue later that you did not have any idea what was running on virtual machine.
According to Blizzard's policy, they ban accounts, not players, and this is what usually happens.
However, there have been incidents where people's main accounts have been banned even when there is no interaction with the botting accounts at all.
Damn ..... so you guys recommend me not to start and investing a lot of time in a new main account if i am botting in the background with some other accounts? Even if i dont connect them anyhow like trading gold/items and all this stuff?
Is virtual machine really efficent when it comes to D3? I'm about to try virtualbox and just want to know if its worth my time.
How can this protect ya? Beside the fact the Blizz sees that bot is on virtual machine and main acc not. The only thing VM can do is create an excuse "But I wasn't botting, what is that virtual machine you are talking about?" IMO.
