Can you give us details? Hours botted, gold collected, quests run, day the ban occurred, bot program used?
Prooz was just referring to how there weren't any bans reported in this thread last week.
Also there is a rumor going around that if you BUY stuff on the RMAH your bot won't get banned. Has anyone been banned after buying from the RMAH on their bots??? Specifically, after depositing money into your account (as opposed to using money from previous auctions).

Yea there was. You do realize last week they implemented a new trigger that looks at the number of sarkoth kills you have over 24 hours. A few people reported that after speaking with representatives they stated that they had killed sarkoth an inhumanely number of times...
You are stupid to think that last week was not a banwave. Yes, what I said was somewhat untrue, but it was still a HUGE banwave and included in that banwave was AutoIt Sarkoths...
The people who did it stupid obviously got banned. The people who had discretion with it and did it smart did not...
All speculative banter between nobodies. There are no banwaves, no one is safe 100% of the time, you will get banned, and just shut up about it already. When you get your email that is when it will matter to you.
Unless that happens speculating about how Blizzard has new radar homing bot seeking sharks with freakin lasers on its head is just stupid.
At this point it appears that doing the same thing 24/7 is a really bad idea. If you're going to bot more than ~12 at least switch to a different profile every few hours or risk being picked up by whatever method Blizzard is employing.
No one knows what will or will not trigger a ban. Anything a person on the phone tells you is going to be speculative also because they don't know for sure either. Come here and report your bans when you get hit and look for patterns. You don't need to put in 18 bots and all are fine botting 24/7 Sarkoth Autoit - suck it - because all that is doing is being an asshat. If you are that way you are lucky and you know it so touting it as the norm is just stupid. If you don't have that and you're lying then you are just trolling and its not necessary. If you need to see if there is a "wave" just look at how many posts are in here.
I'm just tired of reading this same circle-jerk. None of you have a clue as to what, why, or how so just shutup about how you're the expert and you know the truth.
Haha, this page is funny. All I know is we will know when they start banning again because there will be reports. I dunno why people want to make it more technical than that. My only point was there were clumps of bans and then there hasn't been any reports for what like 11 days now or so? I'm sure there were a few scattered bans but on the scale of what was happening weeks ago.. no way. I'm not sure why people are getting hostile.

If you guys mind to actually read topics and not just try to troll on a few posts....
I have benn boting act 3 nightmare for gold from begining, last 2 weeks sarakoth on Jitbit script too.
No bans, but i have feeling that bans may be RMAH specific.
I have sold for 400 E - so about 100 E is taken by Blizzard from my main account as taxes.
No Non-rmah selling - everything ingame so they take 27.5 % tax...
Meybe this is the key ? Meybe they dont ban people who pay taxes ?
Anyone can confirm that ?
Fact that someone writed that main account was not banned - but slaves was - may be important.
Probably most of people use RMAH only on main linked to paypal account...
Im trying to start bots on USA server ... and now think it may be risky. No acces to RMAH so no tax to Blizzard...
What you think about it guys ?
Wrong, I've had 2 bans with RMAH sales.
If you watched this European guy's stream, he was banned for suspicious activity when he was trading over 1 billion in gold over a span of a week or so...
So they definitely have safeguards and barriers in place for purchasing too much. So be careful if you are auction botting... They also seem to be logging how many searches you do per hour...
P.S. this european guy was eventually unbanned as he was doing nothing illegal
It seems TDGAF about AH botting anymore. They banned alot of legitamite players last time, they just put in the input limit and said eff it, good enough.
Bans have really trickled to few and far between, I wonder when they'll turn the ban floods on again...
