With all the fees that RMAH will have, you'd have to be a idiot to use it.

Fee to place the item on RMAH.
1$/euro/pound taken if you sell the item.
15% of all your money when you checkout onto paypal.
Paypal takes another 2.5$ on checkout to card.

Diablo 3 was build around RMAH, and now i think it will fail.

Were they still allowing 2 non-fee (for posting) a week? I remember reading that in their first press release over a year ago.

There is no fee to post auctions at all. Which is why the fees don't matter to them. To them it is essentially free money. You didn't really have to do anything for it and you are paying them for the right to be safe in their marketplace. Do not discount the value of that security.

Knowing that you cannot be reversed or anything like that? That's usually why people sell to gold resellers isn't it?

If you are able to trade Blizzard Store money between players I could see someone offering cheaper cashout options. It all depends on where the margins are...the thing is there will be a grey/black market it just depends on what is sold there and how much.
