I was just about to post a thread on this chargeback unauthorized claim bullshit. But found this one instead which is having the exact same problem.
Long story short. Sold 100 Mill to the same buyer over the course of the day. Had a unauthorized claim. As I was about to type this I got another unauthorized claim, expecting another one soon. $850 USD down the drain. All the trades were told to have "Virtual goods and won't chargeback" as a note.
Still have the MSN window open and got screenshots of the whole convo including their battletag.
I suspect the buyer to have hacked several paypal accounts, as they were all verified.
Reading up on the usual response Paypal has to these leaves me wondering why exactly people use it. Why should I be the one to suffer for someone elses lack of security or whatever problem they're having? This puts me in place of being the one who is the victim.
Don't they log peoples IP's for this reason?
GG.
