Witch Doctor advice

I am playing witch doctor with 41.2k dps and 5.6k hp.
I only use items with int + attack speed. And my weapon have 1177 dps.

I kill myself on reflect dmg and I am not sure how to increase my damage.

Any idea how to improve my gear? I dont really need more hp I think, although would be good if I could survive against reflect dmg, and want more dmg so I can kill faster (have to kite elites a bit too far in act 3.

I think I have to buy legendaries / set items to get attack speed on some items (currently dont have any ms either, would really be good to have aswell). But they cost like 5-10m each and I only have 4m...
I think I need life on hit or hp regen to survive against reflect dmg.

Any idea of how to improve my gear?
I am not sure if it is anything good at ah, except for some really expensive items.
I can farm act 1 but I dont think it is anything of value in there. Act 2 is a bit hard becouse it is too many enemies that can easily get of 1 hit (im dead in 1 hit).
I can probably do fairly good in act 3 but I need some more dps becouse I have to kite elites too far and more than half of them seem to have reflect dmg.
I can do chest runs in act 3 siegebreaker and in keep. And have recipes for a few "Exalted Grand" items, but not sure if anything good will get crafted.

Also, is it any good way to counter vortex? I pop spirit walk whenever I get pulled in but when I get pulled too often I die.

I am not a witch doctor, But I made it to act 4 inferno with 13k hp on my demon hunter, reflect damage screwed me too, The only way to get past it as a DH is with shadow power. So if you have a skill like that (reduce damage taken for x seconds)or so, use that.

other than that, having 30k hp and some % damage to life items may be worth it (not sure if it works for skills, i dont use it, but it sounds like it may help you.)
edit: you can avoid vortex by going around a corner (or a crack in the map you have to walk around. vortex will just make you jump)
