Trying to run multiple clients, I tried typing -launch after the path on a shortcut but It gives me an error. Maybe I am typing it in the wrong place?

Hint: The client won't open the mpq's with SHARE_READ on.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can still have multiple instances of d3 by copying the entire d3 folder once per instance.
I have 2 HDD's I copied over the entire folder already but when you runt he launcher it still says Diablo 3 is already running
You run the client (Diablo III.exe, not the launcher) directly with the -launch argument. Check and make sure u have a space before the dash.
Copy your main D3 folder (Rename it something else). Create a shortcut to that .exe and right click > properties...you'll see a field that says, "Target". after the .exe" type -launch
This should work.
This helped me, thanks!
copying the folder helped for me. thanks : )
