I think so, perhaps not as hyped as the video I made showed, but yes I think so. What about you? Let's get a discussion rolling.

What they need to get " semi succesfull "

Balanced PvP Gear -> nothing that PvE will get used off <- and PvE gear can't be better then PvP gear = easy item balancing
Some sort of BG 10v10 or something
Rated arenas <- 100% eSport if they make an rating system
Fix CC/GCDs
and scale everyones dmg with the current PvP gear.. ( no PvE gear should be able to be used in the arenas, makes it harder to balance things out in the long run )

I highly agree with you on most points, but tbh. They should just have a "server" dedicated to tournament pvp once or twice a year, with rankings and every class having the exact same gear stats (completely balanced) a bit like the arena tournament servers in WoW. That'd definitely make it eSport! But yeah, we'll have to see

They said it will not become an esport. They are not interested in balancing the game for pvp. They said in an interview that they want you to feel like your character is totally IMBA after 2 shotting someone in an arena, revel in the glory and then scratch your head when they come back and do the exact same thing to you. They have 0 intention of making it competitive to an esport level though.
