best way is to go to Blizzard Entertainment , go to your battle.net account, click Diablo 3, and then download it.
Think there will be a way to use this to play singleplayer mode before the release date? Would be lovely!
On another note I can not wait for this to go live, I used the annual pass therefore I am downloading my installer now![]()
oh lord, they did away with single-player and LAN modes?
Yeah they made it so you have to be connected to Blizzard servers. I think they said it was so items weren't so easily duplicated.
wow, that's whack so when i want to play single player games via laptop on vacation I can only play where wifi is available....what garbage blizz-fail again
Please don't believe this nonsense. An offline mode helps to know what items and drop chances there are etc. but a dupe (for online games - that is where it counts) is something completely independent of the knowledge you could gain from this.
Everything they said about it so far are only excuses made so that they would not have to mention, that ea wants drm... (and of course that everybody may use the auctionhouse etc.)
And yes, I assume that it will suck.
If you're connected to their servers constantly, they can monitor what you're doing in game and be alerted to item duping etc.
Also, what has EA got to do with it? I'm sure you mean Activision, but even so, it has nothing to do with DRM.
Do you even think before opening your mouth/typing?
