Nothing new.. I have been playing wow since First day, been paying exactly every month for it Never been banned/warned anything!, i got all Diablo games on my account all warcraft games starcraft games, still i havent been invited so far.. i wont post my system specc.. but hello? im running D3 on max atm zero lag. ofc Sandbox version, i havent tested the FPS with fraps or something yet.. but on wow im at 70 fps on ultra settings.. i doubt they choose people with system specc tbh. if i can run Latest game on max atm, like Dead Island, Warhammer 40k: space marine, Dirt 3 , Rift, Crysis 2, From Dust, do i need to continue?.. Why would Diablo 3 be a GPU eater? makes no sense.
But ok, i'll see if i get my D3 Key this time. Even 5 diffrent GMs in WoW tells me i should get an inv since im so dedicated with games, and my subscription, etc >,>? But i already know they lie :,)
Like they always has...........
Thats probably why...
Why do you think the highest spec is best? It's not. They need to test how D3 runs on most computers.
Your computer is not usual one if you can have all maxed with invisible FPS (30+) etc. about 50% keys probably go to normal computers, the rest to "unusual" specification PC (or mac) like: rly bad computers, unbalanced hardware (for example 6 core 4.2 processor with 512 gb graphic card) etc.
They already know that D3 will run perfectly on high end PC's (like every game...), so why they need to give ppl like that Beta Invitation?
They only need few high-end specs , to confirm what they already know.

Well they also need people who can run the game flawlessly to tell them it runs flawlessly =P But yeah, you are right. They do use spec's in their beta decisions (at least some of the time). It just depends on what they are looking to test at that point in time.
It's not the fact that it *should* run flawlessly, it's the fact that they need to test it multiple device drivers/configurations not just the hardware its-self. They can't presume it will run flawlessly just because it's the latest overkill gaming hardware. If anything there would be more reason to test it on newer hardware since there's been less real-world testing of games etc on them.
I wouldn't get too sad for not getting invited, from what I've heard the first wave was sent to the press and media and teh rest of the friends and family that didn't get into the first pick.
I think tomorrow they'll send out the second wave. That's just my opinion. Keep your chin up. Plus if you don't get in, the folks helping build d3sharp, are doing an awesome job!
