I'm just hoping that this forum can eventually get back to discovering and sharing exploits.
Posting threads and flaming posters regarding loot servers, loot tables, and loot sessions seems to be distracting many people from the true purpose of the exploit section.
Hopefully I can help to put this topic to rest.

We all hope that quality exploit is posted here. But now, the forum is polluted with so-called exploit based on hypothetical theories or just false information. This subsection should be split in 2, confirmed exploits and hypothetical exploits.

You are all pathetic. The op is a retard and the game is so easy to get legendaries now. Wasting your time with nonsense.

I made this suggestion earlier. I think the forum needs a subsection just for this "loot table" bullshit, so everyone that doesn't understand what "random" means can go circle jerk out of public view without polluting the normal forum.

Just a random (hah!) thought: I think one of the most genius, diabolical, and profitable ideas a casino ever had was to put up a display that shows the recently rolled numbers in roulette. Roll that around in your head for a moment before posting more "I got two of the same legendary in one game, therefore conspiracy!" garbage. Vegas makes billions a year taking advantage of this kind of stupidity.

I know it doesn't matter much, but I'm in the camp that the Loot Table theory is only a theory and I think it isn't related with gambling off Kadala nowadays. I have one example.

I did some T4 rifts on my WD with 2 Wizards and we basically did a Rift It Forward set up a few days ago. During that run in one rift, a cindercoat dropped for the each of us. I was saving my shards to gamble up gloves in hopes of getting Tasker and Theo, but decided that since 3 cindercoats dropped rather quickly, I gave it a try and gambled about 200 shards on chests to see the result. No legendaries of any sort.

What does it mean? Your guess is as good as mine.

    1/6^3=1/216
1/1000^3=1/10^9 (just making that up as a per rift chance for thunderfury to drop)

Now observing an event with a chance of 1/216 bares little significance in a game of dice, but having several people report events which have 1 billionth chance of appearing carries some significance. It would have to be matched against the frequency for drops of 2 thunderfuries in 1 rift and 1 thunderfury in 1 rift to allow us to draw conclusions. Say if you see 2 thunderfuries drop as often as you see 1 thunderfury drop, then that is a very strong case for loot tables.

That is true, but can not to applied 1:1 to the situation here. Roulette is obviously purely non-deterministic unless the casino is messing with the table somehow, while D3 loot drops are subject to rules in the code, we know that much for sure.

There is a reason why the recent cards are not shown at black jack tables. It would allow you to massively increase your chances of winning towards the last hands of the stack. People good at counting cards have been making millions with doing it professionally for decades (which involves a budget to begin with, lots of travelling and a dedicated group of crooks), that's why counting cards is illegal in casinos. They will kick you out when they see bets getting larger towards the last few hands.

Similarly, blizzard does not want us to record data about drops or other aspects of the game automatically for whichever specific reasons they have. It is no secret that if you can see the last 1 billion item drops, you can draw conclusions from that about future drops. To give an example you could draw the conclusion that a blackthorne set piece is more likely to drop than thunderfury. If it was a betting game, put your money on blackthorne!!

People who interpret meaning into roulette drops are sad gamblers, people who draw conclusions from d3 loot are sad gamblers that might be onto something. Big difference.^^

The brain tries to see patterns where none exist :P Anyway, not really sure if I believe or not, but sometimes it's nice to restart your game and make it feel "fresh"

I don't really understand if you're agreeing or disagreeing. Your examples say you're with me, but your tone says you're not. Blizzard is not trying to stop anyone from recording data, and certainly we all know at this point that certain items are more rare than others. What's apparently "up for debate" is that you can somehow influence the odds of getting a certain item. What I think people are missing here is that a "one in a million" chance is going to happen all ****ing day every day in a game with a shit ton of players grinding out a shit ton of hours every day. Perspective, bitches. Nobody is going to be clamoring on a goddamn forum all day about how they DIDN'T get two of the same legendary in a row.

And your anecdotal blackjack examples are wrong. Very few people have made millions, it's not illegal, and any casino that doesn't like losing money has a huge shoe on continuous shuffle.

Tbh, the blackjack example isn't even relevant to this thread. The only reason that card counting is possible is the fact that a deck of cards is finite. There are only 52 cards and 4 of each suit. This adds a constraint on the odds.
However, there is no limitation on RNG-based drops. They can be continuously fabricated.
