AFK farming - Act V THE HIVE

Since The Great Weapon exploit has been patched, the next one for AFK farming is DESTROY THE HIVE (Act V, The Battlefields of Eternity). Not as profitable as TGW, but it still does the job.

How to do it:

- Destroy one part of the Hive. setup a anti-afk macro, enjoy killind the endless mobs.

I'm doing it right now on T1 and it looks way worse than TGW, but the mobs are quite fragile and I'll switch to T3 soon.

The exp is ok, the gold seems to be good and the drops aren't really good. Just for your info, I'm only 70/45 right now.
I'll give the numbers as soon as I can.

Results from 10 minutes of farming on T1:
Gold: 70k Exp: around 21m (with Leorics Ring, +20%) Drops: 1 rare, 1 blue, 6 materials


I'm moving to T3 and I'll let it farm for 3-4 hours for better statistics since 10 minutes doesn't really provide any realiable info.

A low paragon Arcanist. My current build is centered on Electroshock, Cristal Skin and Ice Nova. Passives are Audacity and Unwavering Will.

this is way worse than TGW and not even worth wasting electricity running your pc

for xp/gold do hellrift t6 it's 20x faster than this method
for legendaries do rifts on t3-4

Not everyone have equips to run T6 and we are talking about AFK farming, but tks for your opinion.

Yes, do one with random times on the habilities activation.

Nice tip: The better spot to afk farm these mobs is the small pocket in the oposite side (front) of the left hive comb. This way not a single mob will hit your back.

I'm running T2 and a legendary orb(fountain) dropped in the first 3 minutes; it's random, but I'll uptade this post after a few hours.
