has this been fixed? The last two items i quit the game on didnt get reset(cost me a SHITload of gold). I was doing it on adventure, so it says "start game", but i cant see if that makes a difference. can anyone just confirm that is has been fixed?

    OK. Some things I tested/noticed:

-You cannot be wearing the item when you start. Unequip the item into your inventory. Leave the game. Start a new game with the item in your inventory.

-It does work on items that still have a 2 hour trade time -- You will get the "enchanting item becomes soul bound message". Don't worry. Just soulbind it and enchant it. If you want to be safe, you can always wait out the 2 hours.

-Sometimes, the gold value will increase the FIRST time you do it. Don't be alarmed. It will only increase once. Try the method again.

-You can use the bug on existing gear that you've already enchanted before. If your gold cost is let's say 200k to enchant -- it will stay at 200k if you use the bug.

-Sometimes the "stat" you choose becomes locked. Sometimes it doesn't. So pick the stat you want to enchant wisely.

You can use this bug on multiple items at the same time. Let's say I want to enchant a glove/chest/and belt. First, have them all in my inventory. Follow the instructions for the first item (do the enchant/hit the sword tab/escape to exit the enchant screen. Enchant next. Rinse and Repeat then leave game). Do not move from your spot or do anything else like equip the item/move items around in the inventory.

There are some items that the bug just doesn't work on. I don't know why. Not sure if it's particular to that specific item. My friend tried it on a calamity. I watched him do it. No matter how many tries, the cost always went up. Since we don't have another calamity to try it on, we are not sure if it's that particular calamity he has or if it doesn't work on all calamities.

It appears to still be working, but there are some stats in legendaries that it does no longer work for.

One that I have encountered so far (and failed twice) is the lightning damage roll on Thunderfury.

Did you test or is it a conclusion done by the patch notes?

Personally test it. Did a few legs and rares and the price continues to go up.

Actually the reset glitch didn't even matter from starting the enchanting. You can do it to on already enchanted items.
