Legacy puzzlering spawning current goblins

First time attempting to contribute. Didnt see this anywhere.

So as the title says the old legacy puzzle rings are spawning treasure goblins with drop rates that scale to lvl 70. I use one on my follower and one on my witch doctor. This has been a great source of gems, current crafting mats, 3 good legendaries and 2 set items. And that was just while leveling to 70. While adventuring and doing bounties i got another set item last night.

Edit: beware that the health pools scale as well, so make sure you have the damage to handle it without one ring. I found T1 wasnt that bad while leveling.

... AH is down now and you can't trade items to anyone except the people who were there when it dropped, and even then only for 2 hours.

You can trade them simply by dropping them. The OLD goblin rings, as OP stated, are not account bound. I got one from a friend and spawned just 2 goblins every 40-60min ... not that great better than nothing.

The internal cooldown is 10 minutes. They might have been spawning and you were just missing them.

Not an exploit. They have always spawned level appropriate goblins, been doing this since day 1.

Thanks for the info concerning cooldown. Yes, sometimes you cant see those goblins during fight gotta keep an eye on the battlefield
