hello to all friends of Diablo 3, I'm new here in the forum and would like to share with you guys a likely exploit.

Select the sixth mission in Act 1 (talking to Alaric), then scroll left the cave, there you will have an elite and ALWAYS randomly 1 or 2 chest, not complete the mission, relog and repeat as much as desired.

Why would you want to farm just 1 champion pack and some useless chests that dont drop anything since it doesnt work with MF gear anymore

The advantage is that you don't have to waste time finding 5 elites for NV stacks. Just keeping killing the one elite and re-join. It is possible to have a better results this way, because you don't have to waste time searching for elites to kill. Just wear MF gear and kill a single elite.

Of course, to validate either of us is right, one has to do an experiment.

This is an old old old farming spot. He is referring to The Warrior's Rest. If you have a dps mf set or a mf switch, then this definitely is a good spot and will net you at least a rare every other run or so, and I've found a few legendaries as well. Keep in mind being act 1, you're chances of it dropping a GG item are low as shit.

I refer to it as the new Pindle run.

The chest is just a normal chest too, and it does not always spawn.

There are/were similar spots to this in other acts, but instead they have useless unique mobs that rarely drop anything any more now.

My normal Act I run (forsaken cemetery -> Festering woods -> Leoric's mansion -> Northern (Watch tower) -> Halls of Agony Warden Butcher) normally takes me about an hour to do... killing everything (for gold)

I am poor so I do not have DPS MF set... I normally do the MF gear swap before killing any elites... my MF with 5xNV is around 297% (which isnt very high) and most drops are iLVL55 - iLVL62.. on a lucky single run, I might get 5 x iLVL63 but all are with crappy stats... might get 1 or 2 decent items from my 8-9 runs...

I am not complaining about the drops... only the quality of those iLVL63 rares...and I dont expect to get great or godly items from each run...and my friend who has 75% MF after 5 stack NV gets a Tal Rasha drop... so what do i know?

This is untrue. If you can farm Warrior's Rest with 250+ mf, you will get more rares per hour than farming Act 1 w/ NV stacks. Someone did a test of this over at reddit.

Of course, it is still act 1 so you will barely get any ilvl 63s. However, it is THE best way to farm act 1 and you have higher chances of finding legendaries/sets since NV stacks don't affect their drop rates, but MF does.

yeah..but like i said earlier... the fact that you'd still get tonnes of crappy rares whether doing the full act 1 farm or just warriors rest don't really matter... XD

i do a warriors rest run in about 30-40 seconds depending on mods. rare at least every other run if not 2 rares. so in an hour we're looking at around 100+ rares an hour. depending on your luck, this is a way more efficient way to farm act 1 rares. i've found tals, innas, grandfather, windforce, and many other set/unique items as well.

in the end, it's all rng though i guess.
