Monk getting 2-3 or even 4 times anteloot from an elite Pack

Just something I found recently.

Use the skill Exploding Palm -> Impending Doom.

When you find an elite pack you can single target dps them down to about 30% hp on each of the mobs.. .use exploding palm on one mob and kill it.. It will explode and kill the others. When it dies all of the mobs will die and all will trigger loot / NV stacks... with 5 stacks I can get 3+ rare drops gauranteed.

it doesnt influence the loot, and if u kill a champ pack of 3 mobs (all 3 have to die at the same time) u'll get 3 stacks NV

EDIT: quick update! getting several nephalem stacks does work! went from 3 to 5 with one killed pack .. Another thing, this is nearly impossible to do if the champion pack are casters -.-

EDIT2: Accidentally switched skills and I can now inform that you "only" gain 2 stacks NV when killing a champion pack of 3 with exploding palm working on confirming the item gain

EDIT3: This is confirmed working for me, killed two packs of 3 mobs with exploding palm and got 4 rares each!! I have no mf besides from NV... This is awesome! gief tankermonk and 4 people runs for insane amounts of drops lol

Just so you know you are wrong it does influence the loot. I've gotten 12 items including 4 rares from a pack of 3 elite mobs in the cemetary in Act 1 when I have NV stack and exploding palmed em. So i know that it does because usually killing a pack nets me 1 rare and a couple blues...

Similar trick to health link mobs, where u get multiple NV stacks if u kill them at the same time (doesn't need health link, but makes it easier). Reason why most are getting only 2 instead of 3 stacks is because one dies earlier to proc the explosion.

Loot-wise, I'm not sure if this also triggers 'last mob' drops from elites

EDIT: Tested on Hell ( cause my monk have bad gear :P ) and is working fine at least for the NVs stacks, dunno about the loot on inferno, killed 3 at once and got 2 stacks

Guys, be careful with this. A friend got perma-banned today for abusing the drop rate. Yes, it does work, and yes, you can get multiple yellows off a single elite mob, but it seems Warden has some way of tracking this, and will mess your shit up. He got a mail notifying him about game abuse, and his account was pwned by Blizz.

This community has provided me with many fun exploits/bugs, but I've, sadly, never been able to reciprocate with anything useful. Up untill now, that is. I don't want anyone else to get banned like my friend did, so if you do decide to go ahead and mess with this, be prepared for the consequences.

Warden does not have a way of tracking the way you attack mobs. Warden is used to detect hacks, trainers, memory editors and the like. I think there's something "your friend" has left out about why he got banned.
