It does work.
you can make around 300k-500k/1h
Here are some SC from The 1st cellar
And you can easily kill mobs with GF gear.

counted a day ago i was up to 350k just selling blues to vendor and the gold drop /h. havent sold the blacksmith plans that dropped either.

If you sell 1-2 rares on AH, sell gems and plans, 500k are possible...

Friend tested it with a melee, also works as barb or monk.

If it is not getting fixed, maybe its possible to write a script doing the first cellar, because its always the exact same routine. HOPE this will still work at 11 am.

I'd like to add that currently, you can do the following to get a fast group for Dank Cellar (Sarkooth), Dark Cellar (chest/treasure mob/chest) and The Blacksmith's wife all at once easily:

1) Get to the quest: A shattered crown
2) Join public game on it
3) Almost all the public games are farming it and leaving.

This is very very well known, 500k/hr by yourself is almost impossible but when you get 3 others in a game with gf and mf gear all being split up you may can get lucky. I've seen a set item drop in Act 1 Inferno from a tree stump in the Cathedral Garden.

Edit! I also forgot I've seen nice plans drop from The Blacksmith's Wife also!

i dont know how u can make that much money there, i have 245% GF, but i dont know, it isnt so much here.

as i said, UP TO, assuming you have some dropluck regarding rare items and selling gems. if you just loot gold and sell the items you'll get about 300k per hour.

calculation of author regarding gold / h:

Selling Tomes - 1000g / Piece
Selling Square - 580g / Piece
Selling Flawless - 5530 / Piece

Following loot was found:
# Blue 75
# Yellow 1
# Square Gems 39
# Flawless Square Gems 20
# Secret Tomes 15
Gold found 340k

Stats: 175% + Gold Find


488.220 Gold per hour

i farmed the mob now exactly 1hour, i have 300k money and some gems to sell, if i can sell the gems, i have 500k/h.

my gear = 245% GF...

since the patch is online, i need so much more time to join the game...continue game take 10-15 seconds oO blizzard is so retard.

I've actually been doing this for quite a while, but I also open the chests in the cathedral, I'm at 240% GF and make 400-500k/hr depending on the drops but usually chests and the mobs in the cellar drop 1.5-2k gold...

Nerfed? Can someone please confirm that it still drops large amount of gold. I did 4-5 runs with 152% Gold find and had piles of gold reaching 1.5k but my last 1-2 run didn't see a single gold pile reaching 500g

still working - you can get about 190-210% Gold Find very cheap in the auction house - e.g. 25% neck for only ~25k. just limit the max buyoutprice

how crap this is op i have GF MF gear and i can make about 400k only with gold and selling blues (keeping all gems tomes) + I just droped 5mins ago a green set item worth few milions blacktorhe breechers with insane stats ( got realy lucky on stat roll)
