New Resplendent chest farming in Act 2!

I'm running act 3 siegebreaker - it's so much better for me.

It's important to know that this is probably best suited for Demon Hunters.

In act 3 is another resplendent chest or Tyreal thingy?

I reach every chest except one, just kite mobs from entrance die and run inside. I also can made event with jinnies and gold chest.

not hotfixed lol... there are also 2 maps with a chest the other where you must kill a few mobs to unlock the chest

Good spot to farm as a Demon Hunter. Vault+speed boost and Smoke Screen (pop preparation if you run low on discipline) should get you to the chest easily.

nice find but the correct map spawn for me was like 1/5 i got one goblin and alot of elite pack right at the waypoint its good since i can solo them
so if you cant solo act 2 dont even try it you will waste your time but i guess it will work well with dh like always ...

I've been doing runs for that chest, and yes, it's still spawning. Also, following the same procedure the op described you can also find (if the map you roll doesn't have the spiral):

-A huge circle on the ground with a golden chest that will only open after you defeat some monsters (exulx posted a screenshot)

-At least 3 different unique monsters that are pretty easy to kill (one spawns at a place that has 3 urns grouped together, the other is a worm that just pops out of the ground -when you kill it, the hole will become accesible and you'll have a 2 level cave with a gold chest at the end)

-A rocky wall, almost like a cliff with some stairs leading up. There you find an npc talking about his brother being killed or something, and a "random" portal you can activate. So far I've noticed 5 different outcomes upon activation.

a) A swarm of bugs appear (not elite, champion or anything)
b) A vase appears at the center (didn't drop anything, but I only got it once so far)
c) A lot of gold starts appearing out of nowhere (I had 2 stacks of NV and I got about 15k)
d) A portal to some tomb with chickens and pig you can kill with nice drops (it's a white monsters and takes like 2 hits to kill)
e) Another portal called hidden treasure or something like that. I got it 3 times in total, and in all of them it contained 2 golden chest, a treasure goblin, and only 1 group of elites

If, when starting to run, you see a lot of those skull shaped structures that spawn monsters or those muddy holes, then quit and try again (nothing of the above seems to spawn)

It's a really nice place to farm gold and items. I couldn't handle it pretty well on inferno, but even on hell I made like 150k gold in less than an hour from gold drops and selling to vendors and had a couple of nice items to sell on the AH.

i saved in a waypoint south from desolate sands still in the map... i have remade 20 times and went up and don't have such a map or such spiral
