    Called PayPal spoke with Ken from account security and was informed that the funds will not be released until the buyer has taken the necessary steps to resolve the issue. However he did say that their "team" was working on resolving the issue.

    This is what I was told to tell each seller to call in and state: "There is a hold payment on their account, and they need to accept that hold." I've got not control over my paypal until they lift this. Anyone needing proof add me on skype, i'll provide it.

    It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that I don't understand what PayPal wants me to do. Did they say anything to you about how we should accept the hold?

    Also I'm not sure what I should click on the Resolve Case page.
    Options:

    I have not shipped the item and I would like to refund the payment.
    I can provide proof that the item was shipped through an approved shipper to the address on the Transaction Details page.
    I have refunded the payment for this transaction.
    None of these apply to me.

    Why is Paypal Fraud department informing multiple "sellers" that you have not contacted them to resolve the lift?

    All departments share the same account notations, they can easily tell when a consumer has called in to check on their account and what was said/done to remedy the situation.

    I have no idea sir, but i can call them again with you on skype. usually takes an hour to get someone to actually answer properly. They said call them.

    Hey man so what happened to your paypal? I Called them and they said you were over your limit or something like that and they wouldn't lift the hold until the got more information from you.

    All my transactions with Chaoslegend over the past few days have been placed on hold. I called Paypal and they said that a dispute has been placed against the transactions, potentially that it was unauthorized charges. I think this person might have scammed all of us. Paypal said they're looking to resolve the issue, which may take up to 15 days. Until this gets cleared, I would avoid selling gold to this user. I will update on this thread if the issue gets resolved.

    The reason my account isnt working from what i've been told. Is that my SSN needs to be verified. I've sent them 4 copies of it and am awaiting a reply. Said 24/48 hours. If you honestly believe i'm trying to scam, please fight the dispute and ban me from these forums. I'm just going off of what paypal said as they're screwing me over too. All my cash was in my paypal balance. every bit of it.

    Edit: I AM NOT BUYING GOLD UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED. (i cant send or receieve money anyways)

    Just got off the phone with paypal. They told me that there are some problems with the senders paypal and he needs to resolve them. They wouldnt tell what the problems were and how long it would take to resolve only to tell the sender to call paypal and resolve the issue

    Chaoslegend, I spoke with Jordan at the limitations department of Paypal who said that he just needs you to verify these transactions and they will be cleared. Jordan said that you can do this one of two ways. One, by logging onto Paypal and verifying, or two, by calling in. He says that all of this should not take more than a few minutes. There's no 1 hour wait or SSN verification, as you mentioned.

    TL;DR, there is no need to wait. CALL NOW and get it resolved, Chaoslegend. Not to mention, Paypal is contacting you now, too.

    It's not a charge back it's a compromised account in their eyes. So, more than likely we may never get our money back.

    Everyone should just give him the 24/48 hours that he said Paypal needs to fix this problem. It hasn't even been 24 hours since this has started. Now if it still isn't fixed in the time frame he gave us THEN we should start getting concerned.
