Detecting legendary drops via packet sniffing

Hey! I just joined the forum.

Could anyone point me in the right direction how I could detect legendary drops via packet sniffing. I don't like the idea of memory reading and I don't want to use executables created by others (more popular, more detectable).

I installed this software called "Smart Sniffer" and winpcap driver and I was able to sniff the 1119 port but the data was all gibberish to a human, so before I create my own client with the help of the winpcap drive, I'd like to know if it's possible to detect legendary drops straight from the packets or is it crypted in a way it can't be read properly?

I work as a programmer so I should know how to do this even though I haven't done this before.

In most cases packets are encrypted,just use memory reading? Its not hard just find the drop manager and drop count then increase the offset by 0x660 and u get next drop name , then just filter the html colors

I suppose it's not that hard but I'm afraid Warden detects memory reading. =/
