I am aware there already exists a banning thread in the forum. However, its posts contain too much information that some of us might have a hard time getting a good picture of the banning patterns. I want to start this thread for people to post clean reports in the following format:
[DATE BANNED]: date (Thanks Methel)
[SERVER]: US or EU
[BOT TYPE]: list of bots the banned account has used
[# OF IPs]: How many different IP addresses did you use on the banned accounts. (For example, if 1 account was running on a PC and 2 other accounts were running on a different PC and these 2 PCs have different IPs, then the # of IPs is 2 in this case)
[# OF VMs]: How many virtual machines did your bots run on? if you run one bot on the PC and another bot on a VM on the same PC. The answer is 2 which includes your PC as a VM although its not a VM.
[# OF BANNED]: how many accounts got banned
[# OF SURVIVED]: how many botting accounts survived
[WHY SURVIVED]: any reasons why you think the survived accounts didnt get banned. Put "N/A" if no account survived
[ATTEMPT TO UNBANNED]: Yes/No. If yes, successful/fail
[DESCRIPTION]: Optional, you can add more info here if you want
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since I created this post, I will start the first report:
[DATE]: July 12
[SERVER]: US only
[BOT TYPE]: Immortal Bot Pre-28 licensed version 1.47
[# OF IPs]: 1
[# OF VMs]: 1
[# OF BANNED]: 9
[# OF SURVIVED]: 0
[WHY SURVIVED]: N/A
[ATTEMPT TO UNBANNED]: No
[DESCRIPTION]: My mule didn't get banned. It was running on the same wireless network at home, I only used it to transfer the gold and sells on auction house.
