No it cannot be that what's causing it, i have it as my active window aswell, yet it's slow.
I have foreground & background fps set to 65 as it is.
Does it occur just with this script or do you always have this problem when you run 2 clients?
If it occurs just with this script, i honestly do not know what could cause the laginess.
If you have it at all times, there are a few options:
1. You haven't copied the diablo folder and ran from there, thus you are running 2 instances from 1 folder which won't work.
2. Your pc can't handle 2 clients at a time, i.e. it's to slow! Lower graphic options might help.
3. I don't know
sorry noob question, how do I run 2 instances of D3? Just searched...wasn't able to find anything concrete. Thanks.
No offense, but you lack sufficient google skills if you couldnt find that! 0,o
How to:
1. Copy your diablo 3 folder.
2. Create shortcut on desktop to your new diablo3.exe in the copied folder
3. rightclick the shortcut -> properties, in the "target" box add " -launch " (Without the " !! ). Do this for the shortcut to the original diablo 3 exe as well!
4. start em up!
Host inviting a friend takes a long time, when the low lvl joins a game it is much faster. Can anybody provide the script to change this? or give some help on how to do this on my own? thanks!
It occurs always, not just while running script. I do have 2 separate installations of the game aswell and running from separate .exe files.
Must be something messed up in general with my PC, i set up the exact same configuration on my laptop now and works perfectly.
Ah well!
any chance of making this for a lower resolution? some of our monitors can't reach the required resolution level haha....=(
Since D3 requires a minimum window resolution of 800x600, the minimum resolution to run 2 next to each other is 1600x600, so different resolution wouldnt make that much of a difference for performance. I could only make this work for 1600x900, 1600x945 (No one uses that lol) or 1680x1050.
I really do not believe that there are a lot of people running either of those resolution, so i will not dedicate my time to fixing it for that resolution.
If you want to do this you can check out this guide which uses 2 computers and run 1 of them in a VM.
with some google and reading, i was able to change your script to my needs! yay for google and thanks 08449 for the great script!
Here's version where the Lowlevel uses joins the highlevel players game instead of getting invited.
You must have the highlevel player as your Bottom quick join person for it to work.
Like so you can see the quick join button on bottom right.
File:ahk.rar
Credit for original script goes to 08449.
Chum Chum, ur still leaving the game, taking up more time, u can join directly from game to game without leaving
