Yea, just to put this in context, that report with >1m/h, if legit, would have been averaging 14.3k gold per open cellar - I.e. there was a quick ah collect or some other bug happening there. I don't think I've seen that much drop in a cellar ever, much less be the avg.

On that note, I was actually popping on to make a quick suggestion tht probably would be helpful for everyone to gauge their results - adding in a gold per open cellar (G/OC) stat. It wouldn't be too hard to implement, as itd just require a call after updating the open cellar increment runs. And this seems to be the a fairly decent source of variability - I've had the same script run multiple hours and have anywhere from under 6k/cellar to over 7k, which tends to swing the gph somewhat dramatically.

It'd be useful to know both personally if your average was tracking low/high (just like knowing how far off 50/50 open cellars you are), as well as help to put some of the reports in better context (there's been some in this thread with less than 250gf getting ~7.2k g/oc when you calculate it, and my experience suggests that's a decent deviation - this can throw people off trying to judge their results). And maybe it will give us more widespread data so we could get a solid estimate of the avg gold drop (norm'd to gf), as that number still seems speculative.

Some of it depends on your internet connection and computer speed. The guy with 250% gf could have an amazing pc and the guy with 350% gf could of a total piece of shit for a pc. get on vent jc

The script is having issues with stashing SOME 1-slot items (belts/rings/etc.). Had script running, noticed 1-legendary was looted (short run), but checked stash and no legendary was there. It seems to me it picked up a BS plan or Jeweler plan, and it sold it. This last time, I had two rare belts sitting in inventory for about 30 minutes, the script repeatedly attempted to sell them instead of stashing.

Anyway to put a "check" in the vendor portion to check the color/title for "Plan:" or something of that sort? (I know you'd have to use an image for it, just don't know how to set up the x/y).

(Just figured I'd use your "template" in case it helps.
I haven't been having problems with the 1 slot rares. Ive seen it been unable to stash correctly recognize some legendary though. This isn't a big problem since it won't be able to sell them anyway and it only happens sometimes so even in a whole night of running it hasn't massed up my backpack too much.

For plans this could be a problem cause they wil indeed get sold if you're using vendor all, if you really care about the plans you could turn off vendor all and it shouldn't even try to sell them. Plans that are dropped in act 1 are only 4 affixes though and worthless, so I wouldn't bother.

Well, that was kind of my point, the gold per open cellar has literally nothing to do with run times/load times. Whether it takes you 1s to do an open cellar run or 40, and whether your load screen time is 2s or 10, the amount of gold per each cellar is time independent. It is solely affected by gf% - but still is fairly variable (rng), and can throw off people's expectations, much in the same way if someone saw a very high gph stat for a run without seeing that maybe he had a 58/42 open/closed cellar split. The stat is simply the total accumulated gold/#open cellars, and would just put a better context on the gph you were seeing if you had a quick displayed stat for it without having to pull up a calc.

Mmm why? CPU is by far not the limiting factor in running D3. I have multiple copies in vm's running and cpu utilization is near negligible. I would definitely utilize one core and one only per vm...

Welp the gph also depends on if you're looting or not, otherwise it's a bit tough to compare. And hardware too (esp drive speed). I've found that I can get towards the higher end of gph values if I'm running like one copy on my main box with resolutions adjusted, but if I am running multiples in vm's then gph is nowhere close to the values that jcunity and chancity get. So....who's got multiples of this running at 500+gph and can tell us your hardware/software config?

    I would delete Key2=square|90, and rename Key3 to Key2, Key4 to Key3 according.

i am using the Main script at a resolution of 1920*1080
You probably need to set your DPS in Settings.ini. It is probably reset to 0 when you downloaded new version.

Right, whenever I look at my gph (and I figure others do this as well), I do a quick check of whether I'm looting, whether my avg open/closed times are about right for where I know they should be, and what my open/closed cellar split is, and then know if my gph is higher/lower than it should average out to over time. If my split is more than a % or so off 50/50, or I'm running with looting, an abnormal gph number might make more sense. Likewise, if I've been getting a low/high average for the gold dropped in each open cellar, I know that is another factor that accounts for variability in the end result. If you don't believe me, take results of a few different runs with everything set the same - run times, gear, etc, and divide the accumulated gold by the number of open cellars you had - you'll probably see a fair amount of difference, and that difference is not attributable to anything other than gf% and rng - drive speed, looting rares, etc. will not affect this.

In the end, it's not a big deal, it's just one more stat like all the others listed that can characterize a source of variability.

In further support of what Elijah has said, depending on the circumstances, assigning more cores than necessary can actually hurt performance as the VMware scheduler has to wait for that many threads to free up simultaneously - so if you're running a couple vm's, keep that in mind.

Disclosure: at least this is true in esxi, and I'm pretty sure it holds for workstation as well.

Something's up with my lawl script, it's been working fine all of yesterday but now when it enters the cellar, it doesn't walk far enough to reach the doorway and instead shoots the wall. It then runs up to sarkoth, tries to loot and tp, and get's killed. I don't think it's lag because it looks just as smooth as usual, and i'm having no problems teleporting or anything, anyone had the same issue?
