A suggestion if its possible. With the overlay, when a rare item drops it shows the item class such as cross bow, pants helm, mighty weapon, wand... etc is there a way to input the name of the rare item itself? If you dont know the names of the items as they drop then you're still looking at each item individually to find which item that triggered the alert.
Just tried this version of the updater. Just to verify but you meant the "/Updater" folder right and not "'/Update"? A single letter may mean the difference here. I replaced the old "/Updater" folder with the one from this rar archive. I then ran FK and it didn't launch the updater or anything as usual. I then ran the updater both with and without FK running and experienced the same result: the loading bar filled up and it hung on "Retrieving information" for a few seconds before returning a new window with a message stating "Couldn't connect to the update server". I have the Windows Firewall feature within Windows literally disabled. It is not running. Either way, I added both FK and the updater to the allowed programs list in my disabled Windows Firewall and it made no difference.
holy...
the new version keeps on making my sounds go continuasly off any way to stop this?
It keeps on making the sounds when there are not even a single item dropped.

No dear sir,
i do not multibox nor watching a stream or anything :O And the weird part is it screams the most amount of legendarys instead of dropped rares... its weird and don't know what it is.
Dolphe - loving all the new updates and the constant work you put in is excellent, it's much appreciated!
I just started picking up D3 again and once again looking at optimizing farming routes. One variable that's not tracked by FK is # of kills. We usually calculate that by tracking 'lifetime kills' in our profile before a run, then subtracting the difference after the run. Is it possible for this to be tracked automatically by FK? Ideally it would be awesome to have kills tracked just like items, so you can see total kills in certain areas, sessions, etc. Even better would be an automatic calculation of % item dropped (by dividing total kills by total item drops). It would be really great to be able to look at an area you farm frequently, and see total amount of kills, and from that % of items by monster, especially if broken down by rarity.
Just throwing some stuff out there the community would find useful, you stated in your first post you're looking for some ideas, so that's my suggestion! Hopefully it's able to be accomplished through memory reading. Take it easy!
Yes you are correct even when nothing drops it keeps on making the sounds.
And i have filtered and setted it up as always!
My sound isnt working, When i click the Test sound button, theres no sound, and there is no sound ingame either, no matter what sound it is, not the default and not anything i've downloaded have worked.
Awesome work with images.
Also one question:
Is possible to make more range of items detection? I playing as barb's and when i use rend i going foreward and sometimes mobs die far away from me of rend. DK doesent showing item becouse us to far.
I have no idea why, I dont have that problem.
@Kristian72909, did you mark a filter before? Also make sure you are not in town. And go to "Edit item" and press test sound there, if it doesn't play make sure
you have the correct sound and that you haven't muted FindersKeepers.
@pakarus, no its not possible because Diablo III game design. (Actors etc are not loaded until you are in the "screen" area).
No, no proxy and yes I'm logged in as admin/only account. Well, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you and nobody else was reporting issues. It may simply be that my setup is somehow at fault or it may be that people are oblivious to the fact that there is an updater bundled beginning with 2.2.2 even though it may not be working. I'll just keep manually updating when necessary as it's not a big deal.
Yeah I think its something with your firewall / privilege setup in windows / firewall. :/ If there was a bug in the updater , then more people would complain about it. If I find a solution, I'll update the current updater.
Edit: Some updates in the next patch will be
- Monster affixes "alerts"
- Monster kill count
- Language packs (Still not sure if this will be done)
- Pause the counters when you are in menus (ingame but paused game)
