To be honest i think its inspecting accounts. I botted until input limit, and still no ban. Many people have been reporting bans after input limit. I guess that getting too many input limits will flag u. And after that comes acc inspection... in the next days if i get banned ill know for sure :P

same here been botting till input i'm only botting for personal use so i dint needed the gold so i quited abit, i seriously it has something to do with amount of gold collected if u collect to mutch gold in a certain ammount of time u get inspected or something , this theory is based on my personal vieuw

as soon as i got 100kk and bought a plan for +6 gloves i got banned.

With the profiles viewable on battlenet, expect to get people whining and reporting also; it's pretty obvious any character with like 1000000 hours, no inferno kills, and just grinding hell is suspicious. Now that its public, more than just blizzard can see the stats, and people will whine about it and try to point it out. Though I sometimes use some of the more interesting software here, I find it hard to feel empathy for any kind of "24/7 botting, WHY BANNED?!" comments :/


Look up your own bot toons on the new profile system and you'll see how it would look glaringly obvious to a human that investigation/observation is warranted.

Let's say someone bots 12 hours a day, and I bot 24 hours a day.
The guy who bots 12 hours a day makes $10/day and I make $20/day.
After 2½ months (about 75 days) he makes $750 and I make $1500, but I have to spend another $60 because my account got banned, so I made $1440.
$750 < $1440

It's ALL about how much you make.
I explained to you clearly that there is no benefit to not botting 24/7, because even if you do get banned, you will make MUCH more than the cost of the account, so the account is basically free.
If you don't understand that, I'm sorry for you.
