Scourge Event
The starting quest is in Stormwind/Orgrimmar and from there they send you out into your respective starting zone to clean up some scourge. After about a 2-3 quest chain you'll go back to your character city and be sent to Northrend, the Argent Tournament specifically, where you'll receive quests to once again kill more scourge. While here though you should check around for rare spawns. There will be a zone wide announcement for each rare spawn. These are good to hunt down for a tons of loot including a 34 slot bag and gear/transmog item level 100. Also all undead mobs in Icecrown drop Pitch Black Scourgestones and Darkened Scourgestones which can be turned in at the Argent Tournament for item level 115 gear or things like pets.

Another quest from your capital city is to go kill the new world boss Nathanos Blightcaller back in his original vanilla spot of Eastern Plaguelands. Above is the result after you take him down. He also drops item level 115 loot that, as of now, are all unique transmogs.
