Going well indeed with latest patch, only small problem I have is any of the !tele co-ord's I use always crashes the game then have to log back into to carry one.
Small price to pay to explore this way.

The sandbox has no support for Windows 7! I recommend to upgrade your system to Windows 10 (only if your HDD isn't that bad)

that spy/privacy things which are written about w10 are totally not true....when will people learn that!!!

i have a question! my server is empty!! no minions no NPC, i dont even have spells on any character i creat! is this only me or this is how this server works?!

This is a sandbox meaning that you can only play the maps and such it's not a full blown emulator which consists of way more coding and such.

New build 21874 was released and sadly this time around it has stopped the sandbox from working.

Error id for '5' for 'ConnectionService' & Disconnected for Reason: 2

So don't update if you still want to explore until fixed.

New build 21874 was released and the current sandbox will not work until a new updated version is released by king48488.

Hey King, I am not a programmer so please forgive me. Did blizzard do something in legion where even sandbox require connection to blizzard servers? I mean whenever they update the game, the client does not work anymore for me ( i get critical errors )

I was able to launch previous expansions sandboxes and they still work, even WOTLK sandbox still works

PS. i really don't want to upgrade to win10 btw, I like win 7 ;(

Okay guys so here's my story:

After I saw the Legion announcement I was like "Oh shit! That looks so freaking cool!"
I wanted to play Legion straight away and try out the Demon Hunter. I had been waiting for the Demon Hunter to be released since Vanilla. As soon as Alpha invites started going out, I was waiting for a Sandbox to play around with since I'd have no chance of acquiring alpha access. Alas, I discovered this very thread. I managed to manipulate the Battle.NET Client into allowing a Legion Beta installation onto my Computer. Since then, I have been using my old Warlords of Draenor Beta exe to update the Legion client (for some reason it actually worked lol). When the latest version had patched the Sandbox, I found myself bored from Warlords of Draenor on the Live Servers awaiting for King to revive this post. Times were sad, because we all thought he had abandoned the Sandbox. Many of us had given up entirely, while others still believed that King would revive the long awaited update to his project. And alas - he did! I was once again able to log into the Sandbox and explore the amazing zones and models that the Blizzard Art Team spent so long designing in its true glory. Anyway, I'll skip a few weeks ahead. It was 9th June 2016, and I wanted to try out the Sandbox. I opened the Patched WoW client, only for an error to pop up telling me a new Build was available. It wouldn't let me close the error or launch the game, but would instead open the Battle.NET Client and begin updating. I quickly closed it and tried to open it without an Internet Connection. A different error told me it couldn't connect to the patch server and still wouldn't let me open the game client. I felt sad. I checked this thread to see King had already made a post to state he was working on an update. I felt happy. Let it be known that King does NOT owe anyone ANYTHING. He programmed this Sandbox in his own free time, and gave it away for free. He spent countless hours/days/weeks in making sure this project is up to date for you guys. Anyways, back with the story. I accidentally opened MMO-Champion on my web browser, but decided to check the contest status page to check my luck (despite never having a beta before). It took a while to load. I was greeted with:

I literally stopped smiling. I let go of my mouse and keyboard. I just sat there, staring at the screen wide-eyed and mouth open. I sat there for a good 20 seconds before I hastily opened Battle.NET and punched in the License Key.

It was legit! I quickly deleted all Sandbox files and reset the Config.WTF realmlist.

I just want to say thank you to King for all his hard work on this project and for making people like me happy to have such access.
