Have you ever found yourself in a situation where your dungeon group was doing nothing but slacking and insulting each other? Or maybe everything was going great except for that one player who didn't want to cooperate? Cases like these usually lead to only one thing - "pull and leave", which is apparently becoming very common issue lately, especially in LFR groups.
Yesterday a player named Allnepthys addressed this issue on official World of Warcraft forums after his LFR group got wiped by one inpatient DPS who apparently got tired by waiting for tank and decided to pull a boss and leave the group. This kind of behavior can be really annoying for players who joined LFR to actually clear the raid and not just slack or complain about everything.
To prevent these kinds of situations, Blizzard created a hidden system that tracks players behavior in LFR, and Dungeon groups. We don't know exact details on how this system works but from what we can read in a blue post by Community Manager Zarhym, the system might be tracking things like how many times you've left during the boss fight, or even if you ninja pulled it. At the top of that, there is a strong possibility that said system is also able to auto-ban players who are suspected for "pull and leave".
Auto banning players like this might seem like a good idea but what if you're the one who pulled and left the group? As we all know some groups can be very frustrating. Players tends to slack or start pointless arguments on "which spec is best" or "why you shouldn't need on this item." It also often happens that the tank or healer acts like an a** and refuses to do anything simply because he doesn't like your nickname. In situations like these, even the most calm players can lose their patience, pull a group of mobs and simply leave.
So is it actually a good idea to make system like this? Or should there maybe be an option to submit fast tickets to a GM and let them judge the situation?
