  • Entertainment Consumers Association Battles Censorship (SIGN THE PETITION!)

    SUPPORT FREE SPEECH

    Some of you may be familiar with Australia's conservatism. The government has relentlessly censored and restricted access to video games that they deemed inappropriate for the public to purchase. Should we not be allowed to purchase any video game, just as we should be afforded the right to purchase any book, movie, or music?

    The Supreme Court in the United States is considering whether or not they will acknowledge that video games are indeed covered under the First Amendment of the constitution. The political interest group known as the Entertainment Consumers Association has banded together to create a sweeping petition that they believe will play a part in overturning the regional court decision to bar video games from being covered under the freedom of speech.

    If you are a current resident of the United States or Canada and believe that video games should be treated as outlets of free speech and should remain uncensored by the government, sign the petition link below. This is an important battle in the fight for universal free speech.

      I would also like to add that Canadian's have a say as well; considering the options of the Postal Code/Province on the petition.

      The Video Game Segregation must end. Now.

      From a personal view point, I see Video Games as the creative side of interactive art. If video games do not get the second amendment, I will gather a milita force to overthrow the government.

      Just want to clarify, the Conservatism is not usually associated with violations of free speech. Politically speaking liberalism/political correctness is (progressiveness) tends to use laws to limits peoples rights with the excuse that they are doing it for your own good.

      Just wanted to clear that up

      this is udder bullshit. To regulate one form of digital media but to not regulate movies, books, music etc is complete insanity. I for one will not sit down and allow my government to overthrow its democratic structure over a bunch of morons
