MMOwned WoW Guides Competition
This competition's aim is to discover some of MMOwned's many talented contributors and give them a chance under the spotlight as well as a nice little reward. Entries will open on Thursday, August 24, 2010 at 8AM +2GMT and the competition will close on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 7PM +2GMT.
What we are looking for:
- Strictly World of Warcraft related guides.
- Originality - something new to take the spotlight. Reusing an already known guide by only making it look "prettier" or adding a bit more info won't really count in your favour.
- Quality - quality and effort is always something to be proud of, you can view some guide writing tips near the bottom of this thread: - ([READ BEFORE POSTING] Help, Rules and Guidelines for the WoW Guides Section [!!!])
What type of WoW Guide?
There are many different types of WoW Guides out there, here are some examples (keep in mind what I have said above):
- Profession Guides
- Leveling Guides
- Class Guides
- Event Guides
- PvP Guides
- Dungeon/Raid Guides
- Roleplaying Guides
- Gold Making Guides, etc
What not to post:
- Reposts of already here content
- Content that would give away information that is available in the Elite / Restricted Sections on MMOwned
- Anything that involves botting
- Anything that involves hacking/exploiting
- Anything that involves scamming
- Anything that involves model editing or content that would usually belong in a different section on MMOwned
- Anything that involves or is related to Fake/Private/Emulator WoW Servers
- Anything that is restricted to certain people (such as something that is only doable on United States servers, or only doable on the European servers)
- Other people's guides - this MUST be your OWN guide that you have created
- Guide Packs - do not try enter an entire plethora of different WoW Guides
How to enter:
- All WoW Guide Submissions for this competition, need to be posted in the WoW Guides Forum Section
- Once you have posted your Submission, you are then required to link to it in the Stickied Thread that I have created in the WoW Guides Forum Section. If your link is not that, then your submission won't be considered.
- You are allowed up to a maximum of THREE different entries. You cannot enter guides that were posted BEFORE Thursday, August 24, 2010 at 8AM +2GMT
Competition Specifics:
- Start: Thursday, August 24, 2010 at 8AM +2GMT
- End: Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 7PM +2GMT.
- Announcement of winners: We can't give an exact date, but will announce it as soon as possible.

- First Place: 5,000 MMOwned Cash (M$) and 20 Reputation
- Second Place: 3,000 MMOwned Cash (M$) and 15 Reputation
- Third Place: 1,500 MMOwned Cash (M$) and 10 Reputation
