lol, the article says "almost 1000 replies in the first 24 hours"... The thread had 10k replies after 12 hours.. Plus fan sites that also had over 1k replies during the same time.

while i do absolutely HATE this idea, the whole "you can be found with ease" is bloody BS it's not heard to secure your profile on face book and what ever other website, most of the people making the big worry about how easy they can be found haven't gone to any real level of prevention, and then really what are you stupid enough to post your address on a public section of face book?? or accept friend from every person that add's you, you obviously didn't care about privacy to start with did you now?

then there's the kids >.> parent need to be more proactive in teaching kids how to be safe rather then bubble wrapping everything, you can cover a hammer with bubble wrap, but it still gonna hurt if i hit you with it.

I definitely won't be participating in online games if my entertainment is going to affect my real life employment. I don't bring my games to work so it's none of their business. Just like it's none of their business what movies I watch or what music I listen to. I'll go back to my PC and LAN/WAN games with people I trust.

I should be able to be in control of when/where my personal info gets out and able to not participate. In a game world why are real names important? Just asks for trouble.

As blizzard said though, You need to accept their Real ID invite if they are to see your name, and it CLEARLY states that you should only add friends in real life with real id.....
