[Question] Model editing nerfed?

Hello, I have never really known what model editing was so today i've spend 10 hours non stop reading about it and i got intrested in changing the ground yu are walking on.
Anyway, I read on and decided to test it out and I tried it with NogIt, everything went fine until the last step when i was supposed to launch wow with the "modeleditlive.exe" program but i just got wow error...
So I went to the forums and saw many ppl wrinting stuff that model editing is nerfed?_?
So I just wann know, is this really true :S?

It is nerfed for you. Contribute more (80 rep) or learn to google. The 2.3 fix is out there, but there is like 6 different versions of it, so better of contributing.
