Making money off the new patch 2.3!

Alright folks, the majority of the white and green instance drops (for this guide the low lvl instances) will be changed to blues with upgraded stats.

What you do is, purchase / farm drops that will be changed (!surprise surprise!) which you'll sell immediately after the patch launches so people don't have time to discover / obtain said items. This method can also be used for your lower level alts, most of the white items and some of the greens are currently BOE and will be changed to BOP, so you can buy and then send them to your alts. Nothing like cheap blues for your precious alts

example: Rhahk'Zor's Hammer - Items - World of Warcraft This page shows the new, blue Rhak'Zor's hammer v.s. the old crappy white one.

And holmedog, the items being changed will be in the loot tables on wowhead, just search the instance you'dl ike to check =)

You need to wait until patch 2.3 and it should instantly change it into a blue.

It has been confirmed that the BoE portion of the items is going to be changed to BoP, so If I understand what you are doing correctly, you are wasting your time.

Rawrbomb you clearly misunderstand the post. You farm the BOE items BEFORE the 2.3 patch, then you send said BOE items to your alts or whatever BEFORE the patch.

good question, I think it still gets changed, but im not to sure im going to try it now.
