1 tip to help you not look like an obvious botter

don't use a wyvern.

I know its common sense and im sorry if its a repost, but seriously, I'd have to say 9/10 people I find out are botting are using wyverns. And on my server it's become the icon for botting.

So if you want to take 1 extra precaution while botting, don't use a wyvern as a mount!


mounts like the Ulduar glory mount or ICC glory mount are best because most people don't expect botters to have them.

I would disagree on my server most of the botters were using the bronze drake from CoS. Not too many were running around with the wyverns. This is just server dependant I guess. Nice try tho

yeah I'm seeing a lot of the bronze drake as well. the main idea though is use a mount that's not so easily obtainable.

I use red proto drake or sandstonedrake for botting.... havent seen alot using them

You also can't presume someone is botting because they wont talk to you. The point is, that on most servers there are certain mounts that people tend to associate with botting. On mine its the wyvern and bronze drake.

the easiest way to avoid using a mount that gets associated with botting is choose a mount that takes some effort to get. Not one thats money dependent like a sandstone drake, but one that takes your character into a raid environment or one that involves getting exalted with a faction.

I must agree with most of the persons here, bronze drake is more oftenly used while botting.
But i don't really think people care about what mount you use/don't use if you bot.

I use swift pinto, it owns :> Noone expects a botter to run around on the ground farming!
