    Rogue Talent/Glyphs/Poisons and basic rotations!

    Summary

Use this spec double dps 2s comps and most 3s comps. Shadowstep provides you with the mobility needed to close the distance between you and your target. It does not provide as much steady damage as Mutilate does however, and should only be used for these two classes, where mobility is more important than damage. This spec relies on Backstab and energetic regeneration granting energy while healing, as well as heavy burst with Shadow Dance. Shadowstep is unique to this spec.

    Rotation

Subtlety is easily the hardest spec, for this spec you will want to keep hemorrhage glyph tick up 100% of the time to keep the 10% extra damage and recuperate up all the time for energy roll back.

    1. Sap
    2. Premeditate
    3. Garrote (anything but plate) - Cheap Shot (plate for expose armor)
    4. Hemorrhage
    5. Recuperate (you should have 5 points)
    6. Backstab x4-5 (1 Hemorrhage if it needs refreshing)
    7. Kidney Shot (if so see step 8.) - Slice and dice or Recuperate (refresh if its low)
    8. Shadowdance (ambush spam, if target is low get a clutch garrote silence)

Repeat steps 6-8 and make sure you keep the hemorrhage dot up!

    Glyphs

    Prime
    Glyph of Slice and Dice
    Glyph of Hemorrhage
    Glyph of Shadowdance

    Major
    Glyph of Garrote
    Glyph of Preperation
    Glyph of Blind

    Minor
    Glyph of Poisons
    Glyph of Distract
    Glyph of Blurred Speed

    Poisons

    Mainhand – Wound Poison
    Offhand – Crippling Poison
    Thrown – Crippling Poison

    Summary

Mutilate should be used healer/dps 2s or 3v3 with a paladin in it for the increased mobility. It has decent mobility, and very nice damage. Your main damage from this spec comes from poisons and bleeds, so having them up on your target at all times is an absolute must.

    Rotation

Regardless if you are training a target or playing defensively you must keep rupture up at all times, if this is hard for you then i'd suggest glyphing for rupture.

    1. Sap
    2. Garrote
    3. Mutilate
    4. Mutilate or Shiv if you have 3-4 points
    5. Rupture
    6. Mutilate x2
    7. Recuperate (Defensive) - Envenom (offensive) - Rupture (if you need to re-apply)

    Repeat steps 6-7

    Glyphs

    Prime
    Glyph of Mutilate
    Glyph of Rupture
    Glyph of Vendetta

    Major
    Glyph of Garrote
    Glyph of Sprint
    Glyph of Blind

    Minor
    Glyph of Poisons
    Glyph of Safe Fall
    Glyph of Blurred Speed

    Poisons
    Mainhand – Instant Poison
    Offhand – Deadly Poison
    Thrown – Deadly Poison

Seems nice, only thing you should add is that you can't always just rely on your rotation. Sometimes you have to do a clutch focus vanish ShS cs or something similar. You should also have an offhand with Mind-Numbing to which you can switch to apply a poison on a target.

I'm at 2k in 2s and 2.1k in 3s at the moment but i've been higher. I know that but remember this is the basic rotation it's to help people build the fundamentals of a rogues rotation, also i think that might be a bit advanced for new players to get a grasp on.
