I'm guessing if you did the Wolvar Pup last year, that you can't get the Gorlok pet this year? I can't seem to find a quest in Dala @ the named NPC in the OP's post, or any other.

If you switched from Wolvars, to oracle during this year, then you can get both of the pets. But if you're still Wolvar, you can't. Then you'll have to go to Sholazar basin, kill that boss inside the cave, kill the wolvar mob assisting you and choose Oracle as your new "friend".

the quest part is good but it would be better if you grouped both the horde sections together instead of alternating them and the achievement part is pretty much useless, it doesnt tell you anything more than the achievement text does.

A minor error on the guide on the Alliance Outland part thought, says you should go Dalaran but it's Shattrath. Picky me :3

Well, if you finished all the chains (Both orgrimmar/SW, Shattrath and Dalaran) it will be very hard. You'll have to wait for next year then.

If you just finished one of them, or 2 perhaps. You can go to the third and get the orphan from there, then do the achievements

Same thing happened to me but I was able to get a new one from the Orphan NPC in Stormwind (or Orgrimmar I suppose if you are horde).

Get a new orphan from the guy in SW/Org after completing the quests.

Finished the event. Didn't have any real problems with any of the achievements; I just forgot to bring out my orphan when I returned the flag. Got the eots flag on first try.
