[Achievement][Onyxia's Lair (Level 60)] 3.2.2 As a Hunter

Hello MMOwned in this post I will tell you how to get the Feats of Strength Achivement Onyxia's Lair (Level 60) as a hunter in 3.2.2.



Step 1. The Molten Core
Venture into the molten core and kill Majordomo executus adds and loot the chest. According to Wowhead Flamewaker Healer and Flamewaker Elite can drop it too. What we are after is this Ancient Petrified Leaf. I don't know the droprate but i was told it's 50% from the chest.



Step 2. The Ancient Leaf
Accept the quest and make your way to felwood and find Vartrus the Ancient Cords: 48.24 and turn in the quest. Accept the quest An Introduction and complete it. When it's done pick up the quest Stave of the Ancients from Vartrus the Ancient and the quest A Proper String from Stoma the Ancient



Step 3. Stave of the Ancients - Artorius's Head
Venture to Winterspring and find Artorius the Doombringer His name is Artorius the Amiable when hes in his tauren form use this macro to find him

/Target Artorius the Amiable

when you have found him talk to him and then kill him but don't use your pet you must kill him solo that means no help from anyone.



Step 4. Stave of the Ancients - Simone's Head
Fly down to Un'Goro Crater and find Simone the Seductress Her name in troll form is Simone the Inconspicuous use this macro to find her

/Target Simone the Inconspicuous

Talk to her and then kill her, don't use your pet.



Step 5. Stave of the Ancients - Solenor's Head
Take the flight to Silithus and find Solenor the Slayer name in gnome form is Nelson the Nice use this macro to find him

/Target Nelson the Nice

Talk to him and kill him, don't use your pet.



Step 6. Stave of the Ancients - Klinfran's Head
Venture to Burning Steppes and find Klinfran the Crazed name in human form is Franklin the Friendly use this macro to find him

/Target Franklin the Friendly

Talk to him and kill him, don't use your pet.



Step 7. A Proper String
Kill the Black Dragonspawns around the area until Mature Black Dragon Sinew drops (i guess you can kill any of the other dragons in the area too for it)



Step 8. The return of a dragonslayer
Return to Vartrus the Ancient and Stoma the Ancient in feelwood and turn in the quest and gratz to your achivement!.

Since when did that item drop from the Black dragonspawns and not onyxia?

I got the item Ancient Petrified Leaf but i can't find the npc, I know where he should be. Afaik You can't see him if you diden't get the quest before 3.2

You have to stand ontop the hill on the island for the npc's to spawn.

If you mean the Enchanted Black Dragon Sinew, i got it on my first kill

Nice. Doesn't the staff or Bow give any Achievement?

None of those mobs drops the leaf. its a 50/50 drop-chance in major homo´s chest.

you cant just kill those 4 deamons. Every one of them is susceptibly to hunter abilities.

Artorius for example doesn´t like Serpent Sting and gets 300% or whatever dmg. he does extreme dmg and morph you when you get in a 30y range.
so you have to kite him with Aspect of the Cheetah and be sure to have the sting on all the time. otherwise he will reset.


1.Artorius the Doombringer
Kite with Aspect of the Cheetah and keep Serpent Sting on him.
2.Simone the Seductress
You need decent Nature resistance.Aspect of the Wild was
needed and you had to kill her with your melee abilities.

and so on.



Enchanted Black Dragon Sinew doesnt drop anywhere.
onyxia drops a "Mature Black Dragon Sinew" if you have the quest A Proper String - Quest - World of Warcraft.

Heh strange cuz i killed them With explosive shot and aimed shot, mabey you should stop living in lvl 60, no need to do those tacs anymore.

Only Hunters. Don't know if any other classes have a equal quest line.
