[Guide] Mining 1-450 in a Day (Plus 900g+ in the Process)

    GroundZs' Mining 1-450 Guide.
    Horde Only

    Requirements:
    Skill 1-300:
    Land Mount
    Level 60 At least
    Skill 300-400
    Level 80
    Flying Mount (ColdWeather)
    Or Land Mount (Much Slower)

There is no 100% Guarentee that a node will be exactly where I plotted it on the maps, I have plotted the most common node spawn points in the map for the zone.
In the process of Mining I suggest selling what you have mined for extra money income.

    1-50 Durotar

Level 9 Required due to Mobs.
I'd Recommend Filling your bags up with CopperOre untill full or 50 skill, then run to the forge and smelt them and sell or bank them for later.

    50-80 Barrens

Level 19 Required due to mobs.
Once again, mine untill you hit 80 Skill and then smelt them into bars or send them to a alt for quickness. Then run onto the next zone.

    70-130 Thousand Needles

Level 29 Requirment Due to Mobs.
Here I would recommend keeping a sharp eye out for rare gold nodes, they sell for quite a bit
But mainly your looking for Iron after Skill 125 Untill them just Tin.

    130-200 Tanaris

Level 49 Requirement due to Mobs.
Here you are looking out for Iron and Truesilver and Mithril This is a Daunting Task, the hardest part is from here to Silithius. There are few Surfaced nodes in Tanaris, Most of them are Underground in the hives.

    200-255 Ungoro

    Level Requirment 59+
Here you are mainly looking for Small Thorium ore, seeing that is all that gives you skill, but look out for truesilver, that can sell for 4g per ore/bar in AH. There are only a few nodes in Ungoro, I advise checking the underground hive and Caves.

    255-300 Silithius

Level Requirment 60 due to Mobs.
You are looking for Small Thorium nodes at first, then Richer Thorium nodes, Here you have to look in the underground Hives, they are mostly there.
Once you hit 300, Your ready for Outland!

If you want the next part to run smootly and quickly as possible you need a Epic flying mount and level 70+.

    300-350 Hellfire Peniunsula

This is where it becomes easier to mine, because you have a flying mount. From here onwards its quicker, Just fly around. (Not too high otherwise the nodes won't show on your map) Your Looking for Fel Iron ore. The most common spots are around Thorny Areas and that Gorge place next to the Bloodelf Tower.

    350-400* Terokkar

Although on the image I wrote 350-400 I would advice stopping at 390 and heading out to Northrend seeing as you can start mining there then. (Cobalt)

    390-450 ZulDrak/Dragonblight Then Icecrown.
Level 77+ Required + Epic Northrend Flying.

Here you are looking for Cobalt Nodes only. You can either choose Zuldrak or Dragonblight.

Here you are looking for Cobalt Nodes only. You can either choose Zuldrak or Dragonblight.

Now you can start on Saronite, Icecrown is easy, you only have one thing to worry about, and that is when mining in the front of Icecrown Citadel, where you meet 100's of 81-83 Elites. Just keep clear of there.
At first you are looking for Saronite Nodes then Rich Saronite Nodes. (Alternativly there are alot in Wintergrasp when avaliable)
NB. In Icecrown Citadel, Complete a easy quest and you get flung below icecrown citadel into a cavern, there is normally alot of Nodes there.

Congratulations! You now have 450 skill in Mining.

I went from 1-450 in 23 Hours on retail, in the process I earned 1000g from selling what I mined while leveling. *If you mine in Wintergrasp there is a increased chance of Rare gems dropping.

    I hope this helped you!

I usually find that the bloodstone deposits east of Hammerfall are the easiest way to transition from tin through mithril. The nodes respawn quickly and the ore is useless to Horde, so the only competition is from Alliance players that you can gank and then sell the ore to on the neutral AH when they tire of being stomped on.

This guide tells you to leave good zones to early IMO. You should stay in 1K needles until you can mine mithril atleast. You shouldnt leave Tanaris until around 250. From 250+ you should be in EPL/WPL (until 300). If you follow this guide you will find yourself in tanaris and unable to mine anything except maybe the 2 iron nodes.

    -my 2 cents.

Depends how lucky you are, I find Tanaris littered with Truesilver and Mithril which I can mine before you can smelt it.
