Athene did it and got banned even though GMs said he wouldn't. He goes in detail as to how he did it.

For those of you wondering how to mob tag:
1. You enter instance with your group.
2. You get kicked from your group.
3. You attack the mob first (tag it)
4. The rest of the group DPS it even though its grey for them.
5. You get full xp for it.
6. You get reinvited in the group before you get kicked out.
7. Repeat.

Well, tagging a mob outside a instance is something else then inside one. Thats why he got banned and set back to 70.
But he did a awesome job.

You do it like this. The way Athene did it was, he ran in with a Tankadin, Healer and 3 AoE.
Tankadin gets removed from the group tags the mobs, then they get AoEd and the tank gets reinvited so he doesnt get HSd back. And so on, same on the Boss fights.
They stayed in UK till the "booseted" reached level 79 , then they switched instance since the XP Gain there was waaaaaaaay higher then in UK.

He was not reversed to 70. Athene was always 70, you don't gain levels from killing tagged mobs. He power leveled a warrior to 79. The 79 warrior (Darus) was banned and reset to 70.

thats ****ing gay that the GM said it was legal yet he gets ****ed over anyway, Blizzard is ****ing gay, not to mention i don't see mob-tagging as an exploit the first 70 did the same thing if i remember

you can not do it with a warrior. Darus is a prot pala.
