Well since not many people (even those half-way up to contrib.) don't know how to use easy "AddMessage" stuff, I decided to post it so everyone knows...
Well this little feature adds a message to your chat-window.
AND only yours! Others can not see this! But it still appears on screenshots.
Well the basic form looks like this:
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Text")
This would result in a white chatmessage which would say Text.
Now lets throw some colors in there...
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Text", Red, Green, Blue)
The colors can be everything from 0.0 to 1.0.
Some colors:
Red ("Text", 1.0, 0, 0)
Green ("Text", 0, 1.0, 0)
Blue ("Text", 0, 0, 1.0)
Purple ("Text", 1.0, 0, 1.0)
Pink ("Text", 1.0, 0.5, 1.0)
Yellow ("Text", 1.0, 1.0, 0)
K, now you're asking "What is this shit, what is it good for?"
Lets say you want to humilate some sucker in your guild...
do this, screenshot and post in guildforum.
Or a item dropped you want to have really badly, while being in an instance and you got 2 or so friends. Now a friend is lootmaster, you could just ninja the item but that would result in these other people hating you. So you let everyone roll and then tell your friends (works best over Teamspeak or Ventrillo or via a codeword ("wow, reallly really nice [insert item class here])) when to use their macro.
Timing is really importent since it would be highly suspicious when on the screenshot of your friend 1 the roll would be on a different position than from friend 2 and you.
Then you get the friend to give you the item, the others go "WTF dude, I won!!!", your friends say "oO bug I/we see his roll right here, i ll screenshot and upload, sec"
The macro would look like this:
Hope this was usefull
