What wow addons work best for you? I recommend...

I am curious to know what addons you have and why you think it is good.

MetaMap - Just because of joanas leveling guide needs it but its still very nice. Some might prefer atlas however.

X-perl unit frames - hands down one of the best interface addons. Very useful in raids and such. Its possibly a "must have".

MobMap - Quickly find mobs... perfect for completing quests quickly.

XBar - I find this quite nice... it helps me organize the buttons and such.

AuctionFilterPlus - I havent tried any other auction mod because this has proved to be very helpful and dont really need anything else.

    Please shair your recomendations.

Well yeah, if we went by that though we wouldn't even have subsections, such as the guides section and exploits section, due to they fit in this one as well.

Re: What wow addons work best for you? I recommend...

A lot of this is probably no-brainers, but I wish I would have had something like this to go by when I was looking up addons. Here's a little list of the addons I feel are near and dear:

    - Wankoomp3: Wankoo Mp3 Player. This is by far the best mp3 player available for wow atm. The playlist maker is fast, it will read subdirectories (meaning you don't have to lump your whole collection in one folder), and it gives you a sct-type message when a song plays. The addon and playlist generator are separate downloads, btw.
    http://www.wankoo.org/downloads.html

    - Cartographer and Cartographer Quest Objectives. These are ace2 addons which give you not only the full map for every zone, but also powerful tools for questing. You are able to set waypoints (desired positions on the map) with a directional arrow with yardage pointing you toward your waypoint. The Quest Objectives places icons on your map for each of your quest objectives (elimating a lot of time wowheading, thottboting, etc.)

    - Grid. This is another ace2 addon which provides a tiny, highly space efficient table with cells for each player in a raid or just a normal group. This allows for quick targeting of party members (at least for me anyway).

    - Prat. This ace2 modifies your chat frames in wonderous ways. I am very fond of it because it was the first mod I managed to remove the chat buttons (up down) with. But it also does other great things such as showing timestamps, colorizing names by class, showing levels, etc. I'm a fan.

    - SCT - Scrolling Combat Text - I'm not positive weither or not this is ace2, but it can be downloaded from their files site. I wish someone would have told me about this before I found it on my own. This addons shows damage done to you, can show by what spell/ability. Shows many things in the same manner as you see damage numbers flying over your enemy. Chances are, if you know anything about addons, you have it. But this is for those who don't.

    - Bagnon - This addon takes all of your bags and combines them into a "big" bag. This is a very time-saving and hassle-saving mod as all your bags open as a single bag with the "b" button. It also does the same for your bank inventory. http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/2090/

    - SimpleCombatLog - This suppresses combat log messages and replaces them with more streamlined, easier to understand on the fly messages. Instead of seeing something like "Your firebal hits BigStupid noob for 323 fire damage." it would read something more like "You | BigStupidnoob | 323 | Fireball" That's not exact, I was just giving something similar. Anyway: ace2
