Organo - I'd find it highly unlikely that anyone would report you for that if you did NOTHING wrong, besides logging into their account. However I would suggest you use a IP hider / proxies.

Well you have flaws in here making this method useless.

1. deleting characters has no effect at all for hiding from detection.
2. Proxy tools do not work in wow unless you have a private program.
3. A GM will investigate and link all accounts to the scam and suspend/ban all the account.

I like the idea but you can't scam on the same computer you will get caught no matter what. You're on the right trail you just need to fix some stuff =)

Sineater I have been using this all my scamming career, and have never been caught in any way. Aswell, I said to use different IP's when logging on the different accounts.

Got some account infos with my phishing site today, gonna try it later but sounds nice, at least better than my friends method =)


A friend of mine logged into a scammed account without IP hider recently, logged into my account too and handed items and gold per face-to-face to my bankchar, he got the scammed account banned fast but we also did receive 24h ban.

Was this due the missing IP hider or howelse could blizz have recognized it?
