    0.INTRO

This was posted from a real person that tested, and went to blizzcon. These info were off of websites, and I ONLY picked out the ones that were true facts. I'll keep updating when I find out more stuff. If you guys like it you guys can sticky it till it releases.

    1. FACTS
    World

Dalaran will be moved and hover above Northrend. It will be used as a neutral capital city.
There are more daily quests coming in the next patch-- a dungeon daily quest, a battleground daily quest, and a cooking daily quest.

    Instances

A new 25 man dungeon is scheduled for release after Zul'aman, it will have 6 bosses with loots higher than tier 6. Another 5-man instance is also considered. (This will be before the expansion)
There will be a new CoT instance in the expansion.

    Items

Heroic badge loot will be added to the game with Zul'Aman

Are we going to have to buy new flying mounts again?
Laughter. You'll not "have" to buy a new flying mount, but we'll have new options available.

Will green items in Northrend be better than Tier 4?
Yes, we do expect to see the same kind of progression. We were happy overall with the way it worked. If you're decked out in Illidan gear or the new raid zone that I can't mention just yet that will be out before the expansion (!), that gear will last you a while. But players like upgrades early and often.

    PvP
    New Battleground

Siege vehicles that you can drive around
    15 People in each team
    30~40 minutes long games.

    New Arena Season

    New Season
    New Arena
    New Gear
There will also be a new Outdoor non-instanced world PVP Zone with impact on the whole world. (Even for PVE Servers)

    Hero Classes
Hero Classes won't be released all at once because of balancing issues. They're classic Warcraft 3 characters with an "epic feel" (something really different than the ordinary)

The hero class will be created on a new character slot once you completed the quest, you won't lose your original character.

    Death Knight

The current plan is to have the class available for all races.
Designed to fullfill both tanking and DPS roles
Can tank using 2H weapons or by Dual-Wielding, no need for shields.
Rather than using rage, energy, or mana, Death Knights have a special "rune sword" displayed beneath their health bar, onto which the player can etch six different runes (choose between Frost, Blood, and Unholy).
Rune resource system. Three rune schools: Blood runes, frost, and unholy runes. All DK spells and abilities will use these different runes in some combo. DKs carve these runes into their weapon-- done anytime outside of combat.
Character portrait has six runes in place of the mana bar (and a special circle around the icon, probably for Hero class). These runes are consume as your spells use them-- they deactivate and then reactivate over time, so if you have two frost and four blood runes, you get that much to use as spells and abilities. We have plans for mechanics that allow you to change one resource type on the fly-- like Warlock's Life Tap (Health=mana).

    Unholy Embrace
    Instant Cast. 5 min cooldown.
Target is embraced by a silhouette of darkness for 6 seconds, corrupting any healing spells and effects cast upon or currently affecting the target to cause damage for 50% of their healing potential instead of restoring health. Any damage shields cast upon or currently affecting the target will also be instantly consumed, dealing 50% of their absorption potential in damage. Once afflicted with Unholy Embrace, the target cannot be afflicted with Unholy Embrace again for 1 minute.

    Level Cap: 80
    Skill Cap: 450
    Continent: Northrend
Number of Zones: 10 (tentatively), for levels 68 and above
    Profession: Inscription
Class: Death Knight (first-ever Hero Class)
Features: Outdoor PVP zone with siege weapons and destructible buildings.

    Inscription
Wrath of the Lich King will introduce a new profession called Inscription that will let players customize individual spells and abilities in their spell book -- to change the cooldown timer on a Fireball, for example, or alter the crit rate of a healing spell.

    Outdoor PvP
One of Northrend's 10 new zones (final count still tentative) is an outdoor PVP zone that introduces the concept of siege weapons (Meat Wagons, Steam Tanks, etc.) and destructible buildings. Blizzard describes the outdoor zone as basically a "non-instanced Battleground" where completing objectives earns world-wide bonuses for your side (Think Spirit Shard buff in Auchindoun instances). The PVP zone is entirely avoidable (if you're the carebear type), and seige weapons won't be useable outside their designated PVP area.

    Northrend
Having learned a valuable lesson about funneling 8.5 million players into once single starting zone with The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King lets players pick a zone on either side of the continent to start from: Borean Tundra in the west or Howling Fjord in the east. Each zone has level-equivalent quests (appropriate for approximately level 68 through 72) and one Hellfire Peninsula-style instance hub with multiple dungeon wings for level 70 characters, level 80 characters, and raiders. While Northrend immediately calls to mind ice and snow, Blizzard doesn't want to make those themes dominate Northrend completely-expect as much variety as ever, only not quite as weird and wild as Outland.

Northrend's indigenous inhabitants include a Viking-like race called the Vrykul: 15-foot-tall humanoids with a strong Norse influence. Most Vrykul you encounter will be your enemies, as they've been in Northrend so long that the Lich King holds a lot of sway over them. Another friendly race -- the walrus-like Tuskarr -- will serve as a cute little counterpoint to the lumbering undead-loving oafs.

    Geography:

Northrend will have zones of a comparable size to those in outland, it will also have more zones, but the exact number has not been finalised yet.
Players can start from two different zones: Howling Fjord & Borean Tundra.

    Howling Fjord:
Your first chance to go up against the ancient Vrykul in their instance Utgarde Keep.

    Borean Tundra:
    The home to the Tuskarr.
Parts of Borean Tundra are being melted down for water by the Naga
Garrosh Hellscream has established a base of operations at Warsong Hold.

    Grizzly Hills:
The home of Furbolgs and their city of Grizzlemaw.
Also home to the ancient Dwarven City of Thor Modan.
The land is largely covered in forests - an example of our desire to make sure that not all zones are just snow and ice.

    Dragonblight:
The home of Wyrmrest Temple, the ancient meeting place where dragons go to die.

    Lake Wintergrasp:
A new non-instanced PvP zone with Siege Weapons, destructible buildings and multiple objectives with lasting effects. Players on Normal realms will automatically be flagged for PvP when entering this zone.

    The Storm Peaks:
Containing Ulduar, the ancient Titan city in the Far North.

    Capital City:

The Kirin Tor, led by Rhonin, have moved Dalaran to Northrend as a final front in their war against the Blue Dragon Flight. The Blue Dragon Flight, following a strengthened Malygos, are now attempting to purge all magic users from Azeroth.
It will act as the central neutral city floating above Northrend - a Shattrath of the North.

    Races of Northrend:

Taunka – An ancient offshoot of the Tauren, who have a considerably different outlook on the world.
Tuskarr – The Nomadic Fisher Walrus men make a return from Warcraft III.
Iron Dwarves – There is a great deal to be discovered about the history of Azeroth through their story.
Naga – Pursuing their material interests further in Northrend.
Vrykul – The ancient giant vikings of the Howling Fjord
Furbolgs – The Furbolgs live in the city of Grizzlemaw in Grizzly Hills.
Nerubians – The Nerubian spiderlords are related to the silithid of Silithus and are followers of the Old Gods in Northrend.

    Famous Faces:

Players will interact with Arthas right from the beginning in Northrend.
Arthas is the avatar of the Lich King and is scheming to corrupt the players of the Horde and Alliance against their own people as he himself was corrupted against his own father by the Lich King.
Every player, whether a raider or solo player, will have a hand in whether Arthas is defeated or whether he ultimately dominates the entire world.

Garrosh Hellscream has moved to Northrend to lead the fight following in the steps of his father.
Lady Sylvanas is leading the Forsaken with their experimental plague against the scourge and Arthas
Highlord Bolvar Fordragon will be at the forefront of the campaign for the Alliance in a tumultuous storyline.
Brann Bronzebeard is the consummate explorer and finally makes an appearance in World of Warcraft helping the dwarves explore their origins in Northrend.
Tirion Fordring and The Order of the Silver Hand make a return, bringing with them the legend of the Ashbringer
Rhonin is now leading the Kirin Tor in their war against the Blue Dragon Flight.

    PvP:

There will be a new mid-sized (e.g. 15 vs 15) battleground in which the goal is to blow up the enemy base using Siege Weapons. (Not yet determined if this is actually located in Northrend.)

There will be a new Arena Map and Season.

A new non-instanced PvP zone, Lake Wintergrasp, will contain Siege Weapons, destructible buildings and multiple objectives with lasting effects. Players on Normal realms will automatically be flagged for PvP when entering this zone.

    2. Q&A

What are the features of the new expansion?
Wrath of the Lich King builds on the rich foundation established in World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade, providing a wealth of new content for players to explore. The harsh, forbidding continent of Northrend, home of the Lich King and his undead minions, will be uncovered on the world map, and to contend with the new challenges found there, players will be able to advance to level 80, acquiring potent new abilities and talents along the way.
In addition, Wrath of the Lich King will introduce the death knight hero class to World of Warcraft. Once certain criteria are met, players will be able to create a new death knight character, which will start at a high level. Furthermore, player-vs.-player battles will reach a new level of intensity with the addition of siege weapons and destructible buildings, not to mention a new battleground. There will also be an abundance of new quests, dungeons, monsters, items, and recipes -- as well as a new profession, inscription -- for players to try out. The expansion will include some additional character-customization options for players as well. We'll be going into more detail on all of these features in the months ahead.

How will the death knight class fit into the game?
The death knight combines martial prowess with dark, necromantic energies. Players might be familiar with the death knight from previously released Warcraft games -- most recently, in the campaigns for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and the Frozen Throne expansion, the former paladin Arthas became a death knight and wreaked havoc across Azeroth and Northrend before fusing with the spirit of Ner'zhul to become the Lich King. The death knight is the first hero class in World of Warcraft; once certain criteria are met, players will unlock the ability to create a new death knight character, which will begin play at a high experience level. We're currently exploring various options for how the death knight will play and the types of abilities at its disposal, and we'll be revealing more information about this new class as we get further along in development.

Will the death knight have any abilities from previously released Warcraft games? The way we portrayed death knights in past Warcraft games is certainly a source of inspiration, but we are still determining how best to capture that feel within the mechanics of World of Warcraft, and haven't made any final determinations on specific abilities.

What role will the death knight play in groups and raids?
In general terms, the death knight can be considered a type of class that combines damage dealing and tanking, but naturally it will have an array of unique abilities as well.

[What races will be allowed to play death knights?
We haven't yet made a final determination about which races can be death knights. However, the class will be available to both the Alliance and the Horde.

Will there be additional hero classes in the future?
Yes, we do intend to add more hero classes in the future, but right now our focus is on the current expansion.

What is the story background of the expansion?
Players last visited Northrend in the Warcraft III expansion, when Arthas Menethil fused with the spirit of Ner'zhul to become the Lich King, one of the most powerful entities in the Warcraft universe. He now broods atop the Frozen Throne deep in Icecrown Citadel, clutching the rune blade Frostmourne and marshaling the undead armies of the Scourge. In Wrath of the Lich King, the greatest champions of the Alliance and the Horde will do battle with the Scourge amid Northrend's howling winds and fields of jagged ice, and ultimately face the Lich King himself.

Will players actually get to encounter Arthas himself?
Players will be skirmishing with the minions of Arthas from the moment they set foot on Northrend. He will be a constant presence as players progress through the expansion content -- which will culminate in a showdown with the dread Lich King himself.

Can you discuss some of the new talents and abilities that will be available from level 70 to level 80?
As with character advancement up to level 70, players will gain access to an array of potent and exciting new abilities and talents as they make their way from level 70 to level 80. However, it's still too early to get into specifics on these.

How long will it take to advance from level 70 to level 80?
We were pleased with the pacing from level 60 to level 70 in The Burning Crusade, and we intend to take a similar approach to pacing character advancement in Wrath of the Lich King. However, the specific amount of time that it will take players to reach level 80 will vary widely based on play style.

What can you reveal about Northrend?
The first area of Northrend we're showcasing is the Howling Fjord, a region of grasslands overlooking massive cliffs at the southeastern edge of the continent. This, along with the Borean Tundra, is the front line of the war against Arthas, and players will come face to face with his minions as soon as they set foot on Northrend. Eventually, as players progress further, they will explore the Grizzly Hills, Dragonblight, and more. We'll be showing off some of these new areas in the months ahead.

What's the level requirement to enter Northrend?
Players of any level who have purchased the expansion can visit Northrend. However, all of the content is designed for players level 68 and up.

How many new dungeons will be in the expansion?
The first dungeon players will enter is Utgarde Keep, which is intended for five players around level 70. Utgarde is inhabited by the Vrykul, a Viking-like race bent on proving their strength to the Lich King, who will raise the most worthy of their warriors to serve him beyond the grave. We intend to provide a variety of dungeons comparable to that in The Burning Crusade and will be revealing more details about some of these in the months ahead.

Do you plan to continue with the 25-player model for raids?
Yes. We've been pleased with the tactics, intensity, and variety of the 25-player raid model, and plan to continue with it.

Will the new dungeons have heroic versions?
Yes. We feel that the heroic versions of dungeons are a great way to add another level of challenge and reward for experienced players, and we intend to continue creating these variants.

In what ways will players be able to further customize their characters in the expansion?
In addition to the numerous new character-customization options that will be available with all of the new weapons and armor added by the expansion, we'll be offering some fun ways to alter both existing and new characters with regard to dances and hairstyles, but we're not ready to go into more detail just yet.

What can you reveal about the new profession coming with the expansion?
The Inscription profession will allow players to permanently enhance their own spells and abilities and those of other players. You can think of it as enchanting for your spells and abilities. We'll provide more specific details on the mechanics of this new profession in the months ahead.

What can players expect with regard to player-vs.-player combat in the expansion?
Players will be able to take control of siege weapons and use them to destroy opposing buildings, adding a new layer of complexity to PvP battles. Naturally, we'll be providing some fun places to put these new tools to good use, and we'll be revealing more information about them in the months ahead, in addition to the new battleground content being added.

Can you give a sneak peek at the new recipes and items in the expansion?
There will be hundreds of new recipes and thousands of new items available, but we're not ready to discuss specific examples just yet.

Will there be any graphical enhancements?
Yes. We're currently working on some technical enhancements to the game's graphics, and we'll be discussing these further in the months ahead.

How many zones will be in the expansion?
Northrend will be roughly equivalent to Outland in terms of size and scope.

Will there be any new cinematic scenes?

Yes, our cinematics department is hard at work preparing a new intro movie for the expansion.

Release/AvailabilityDo you need to own the expansion to play with friends who have it?
There will be many aspects of the expansion that will be available to all players. However, in order to experience certain content, such as Northrend, or be able to play as a death knight, players must purchase the expansion.

Will there be an open beta test of the expansion?
We have not yet determined whether the expansion will require an open beta test. If we do decide to conduct a beta test, details will be posted on the official World of Warcraft website once we've gotten further along in the development process.

When will the expansion be released? How much will it cost?
We have not yet announced a release date for the expansion set. However, we expect to announce further details, including the release date and price, on our community website in the months ahead. Please stay tuned to World of Warcraft Community Site for more information.

Will there be a collector's edition?
We have not yet made any determination about whether there will be a collector's edition of Wrath of the Lich King. We'll be announcing details such as this closer to release.

Will a Mac version be available simultaneously with the PC version?
Yes. As with all of our games, Wrath of the Lich King will be compatible with and optimized for both the Windows and Macintosh platforms.

    What are the system requirements?
We'll continue to ensure that the game is playable on a wide range of hardware. However, we have not made a final determination on the system requirements as yet.

Will the expansion be released globally at the same time?
We recognize that players throughout the world will be eager to experience all of the new content being added with Wrath of the Lich King, and we will make every effort to release the expansion simultaneously worldwide. However, there's always the possibility that unforeseen circumstances could delay the launch in any given region. We'll share the launch timing with players in each region as soon as the plans have been finalized.

What is the ESRB rating for the expansion?
The expansion has not yet been rated by the ESRB. However, we anticipate that it will receive the same rating that the original World of Warcraft received -- "Teen."

    Flying mount in Northrend
A lot of people asked if we can use the Flying mount in Northrend. The answer is simple : Yes, and no. The official answer taken from Xfire is : we will be able to use flying mounts in Northrend, but not until "level 75 or 78" as they want to "keep us grounded and guide us on foot" as we start exploring the new continent.

And while we're answering the top questions,
no, you don't loose the original character if you create a Death Knight, it's a new one.

    Xfire chat with Tigole

I posted a few lines of the chat yesterday, I only took the most interesting parts, you can read the full version on Xfire :

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: Q: Will all heroes in warcraft 3 be added, and if so, what will you do with Liches or Dreadlords? and is all the current class imbalance in the game a setup for the Death Knight?

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: We want to see how the Death Knight works out before talking about new Hero Classes. The cool thing about hero classes is it opens a lot of doors to pay homage to our favorite War3 heroes

[Xfire] BlizzCon 2007: arrantprac: Engineers have been thirsting for information about the profession review for a while now. Are there any bits of info you can share with us regarding upcoming engineering improvements?

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: They'll be able to craft a new flying machine... that much i can tell you

[Xfire] BlizzCon 2007: tabby Mc. Killerson: QUESTION: Will Northrend have lots of enviroments, or be a giant Winterspring?

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: We are absolutely NOT going to make Northrend all snow and ice! Howling Fjord (playable here at BlizzCon) is a beautiful, green forest zone with high cliffs, Borean Tundra has an "autumn" feel to it, Grizzly Hills looks like a beauitful Redwood forest. We definitely won't bury in snow.

[Xfire] BlizzCon 2007: Valken: Question: Will there be a closed beta for Wrath of the lich king, if yes will there be more then one way to get in. Like there was

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: There will definitely be a closed beta for Wrath of the Lich King, and like the Burning Crusade and our other betas there will be multiple ways to get into that beta

[Xfire] BlizzCon 2007: 1. How the thing with flying mounts is actually going to be in Northrend ? I mean, it will be a bit weird to see cosmic and ethreal Nether Drakes and Eather Rays in quite "normal" Azeroth envoirnment. Is this going to stay as it is ?

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: We're still unclear on exactly how flying mounts will work in Northrend. There WILL be flying mounts in Northrend and you'll be able to fly on your mount. But not for the initial levels when you enter the expansion

[Xfire] BlizzCon 2007: 2. As I'm quite lore fun, for me it seems crazy for making Dalaran the capital of the Northrend How it was possible that ruined Kirin Tor was able to rebuilt it and (omagad) even transport the whole CITY through the sea to the new continent. Why you choose Dalaran for the capital role and are we goin to see logical explanation about how the Dalaran was formed in Northrend ?

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: More will come out about that soon but basically the Blue Dragonflight has taken a turn for the worse and the Kirin Tor are concerned about it. What's about to ensue is a battle over magic and once Dalaran is rebuilt, it will be the staging grounds for that battle

[Xfire] BlizzCon 2007: Archeus: with the addition of death knights, and the fact that they will start at a higher level then usual, i'm rather worried that everyone will have a level 80 deathknight quickly, reducing alot of the epic feel of the class.
Are there any plans to deal with this, or is it intended for everyone to have a chance at playing the deathknight on a high level?

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: There's not a huge concern about seeing too many Death Knights. The appeal of any class is unique to the individual, for example, a lot of players like staying at range so they prefer mages, hunters, warlocks etc. Others enjoy going toe to toe so they play warriors and rogues, and leveling is not too hard in the game - so really people can already play whatever they want. They tend to stay drawn towards certain roles.

[Xfire] BlizzCon 2007: SS2 Maximilian: How does actually Siege weapons are going to work? Will they be controled and moved by players or will they work by clicking on them? A little like in Guild Wars.

[Blizzard] Jeff Kaplan: Siege weapons are still being developed but we definitely want them to be player controlled. We also want the siege weapons to have mobility so they can be positioned and aimed. Our hope too is to introduce very "warcrafty" siege to the game -- things like Meat Wagons, Ballistas etc.

    Tigole interview on Curse
Curse.com posted a video interview of Tigole on their site. Some parts are rather interesting.

Raid composition in 10-man raid is definitely identified as a problem. (Which means it will probably be easier to add hybrid classes to a Zul'aman raid)
Arena powerleveling is an issue, and they're looking for a way to nerf it and equipment powerleveling in high-rank teams.
Item upgrade from BC to WotLK should be the same as WoW from BC. Basically, you'll get fast upgrades with an average gear, but people with equipment from the last tier dungeons will keep it for a while before finding a decent replacement.
Heroic Badges will drop from Zul'aman and Karazhan bosses. (2.2 or 2.3)

A tons of items will be added to the heroic badge vendor. With items to equip for all classes (and also enough items to fill the itemization gap for moonkins druids and retribution paladins)

    5. Class info

    Druids

Mana issues are being looked at. (Moonkins)
Cat form's range will be tuned

    Mages

Water Fountain and Muffin Factory (like the soulwell) are incoming. (No more "WATER PLZ !!!")

    Hunters

A legendary ranged weapon will be available soon. (New 25 Man raid ?)
Mana issues are being looked at.
Many changes for hunters will be implemented in 2.3, more utilities for arena battles and group utility are planned.
Hunter's arena weapons prices might be lowered to reflect the fact that they need to buy two weapons (or even three).

    Shamans

It seems that shaman talents were changed in the game version available during the Blizzcon, you can check them here

Crowd Control spells might be available in levels 71 to 80.
Totems are being looked at, The Mana Spring totem will be a lot stronger than it is and some other will be made stronger too.

The change I believe you're referring to is that a new talent would be replacing the "Two-Handed Axes and Maces" talent. If that new talent does in fact go in - keep in mind these changes are in-development - then two-handed axes and maces would be trainable for all shaman. Please keep in mind that we may implement changes, test them, and then revert or wholly alter them.

Clarity Incoming: As far as I'm aware swords aren't being considered to be usable with a talent, or as a base trainable weapon type.

    Priests
Fear Ward will be spread around.
Lightwell and other abilities are being looked at.

    Paladins

Stat distribution will be changed for retribution paladins, spell damage won't be as much needed as before.
The Season 3 Paladin Retribution set will have resilience.

    Rogues

Rogue mobility in arena could be changed.

    Warriors

They might up the damage a bit while tanking to make the class more fun.

    7. Blizzard posts

    Naxxramas
QControl posted something very interesting on Elitistjerks. It seems that "Tigole mentioned that they were in serious discussion about moving Naxxramas to Northrend, toning it down to "Molten Core difficulty level" and making it an initial 25-man raid zone.". I don't know how real it is, but it would definitely confirms the Ashbringer theory

Quote from: DryscYeah, well that kind figures in to the new definition of what a hero class is. It allows us to add new classes that start at higher levels, keeping players relatively kept up as we continue to release expansions and raise the level cap, and ultimately it really fits to use the heroes from past Warcraft games as inspiration. Some other hero classes could definitely be things like Demon Hunter, Blademaster, etc.[/QUOTE]

Quote from: DryscKeep in mind that there's a lot of improvements intended to come at the same time as the anti-afk measures, because we find that the phenomenon of people going afk can't just be attributed to a single problem.

Fixing the balance issues, making sure the final pulls work correctly, offsetting more of the honor toward the final parts of the game, etc. All of this on top of the ability to stop afk players from gaining honor, and we think there's going to be a much larger draw for players to actually participate.
    Source

DryscThere's no final decision or announcement on how multiple weapons would be etched, or how weapon switching may effect the etched runes. What has been discussed to some degree is that the main-hand weapon would be etched and that's it, but it's too early to say what would be allowed in the final game.
    Source

DryscTo answer the last question first, the rune types don't dictate a new damage type, they're simply a resource that spells and abilities will use when you activate them. The spells and abilities won't necessarily be "blood, unholy, or frost" damage. Although I would make a personal guess that it's likely for shadow spells to use unholy runes to activate, physical damage spells could use blood, and frost spells using frost runes.
For the first question, no I don't see it as being a mechanic to limit how awesome they are really, but it definitely does allow us to balance and plan for what abilities can be used, when, how often, and in what combination with other abilities. I think the new system is definitely more in-depth, and will be interesting as I think it's going to add quite a bit of complexity to being able to play the class well. Which is probably a good mark of a hero class.

Imagine it being three different energy pools which you can change the size of before you get into combat.

    8.LORE

    ASHBRINGER
It seems that you just get the sword from an event in the dungeon, started by a guy from the Silver Hand. After that, you handle the item to a guy in Valgarde and realize that the Cleric of the Silver Hand was Tirion Fordring, he gets the sword and laugh while the retribution paladin of your party keep crying. Save the human leader, save the world.

Dialogue after you handle the sword : (Source)
A nearby cloaked Cleric walks over and reveals himself as Tirion Fordring. (model changes from the cleric to Tirion). Lord Irulon Trueblade says something about how Tirion shouldn't have revealed himself, Tirion waves him off. Dont have the exact dialogue for that, but right after it continues into this:

Highlord Tirion Fordring says: Their passing wieghs heavily upon my soul.
Lord Irulon Trueblade says: The path of freeedom has always been beset with tragedy sire. We could not risk losing you. The Order could not have survived such a blow.
Highlord Tirion Fordring says: It should have been me that carried the blade. The burden was mine to bare.
Highlord Tirion Fordring says: But you are right, Irulon. The price of our freedom will undoubtedly cost thousands more of their lives.
Highlord Tirion Fordring yells: Do you hear me Arthas? The Silver Hand comes for you! Your kingdom shall crumble beneath the weight of justice! By the light!

Re: Wrath of The Lich King FAQ

They'rs nothing wrong with the expansion name, it actually fits the storyline.

If you READ the book you'd know what will happen & what the storyline with the expansion is.

ALSO if you played Warcraft III & Frozen Throne.
